Excellent Product at Excellent Price
It's been a few days now, I bought this Lodge pan for Rs. 1399. I love to eat and cook "bread omllete" and for me it's the best pan for cooking one. In past I've tried cheap so called non-stick pans from brands like "Nirlep" & "Tosa". But it is a real pain to cook in them as they are extremely thin. But this one is very solid and if you take little bit of care it can last for generations and will get better as you use it. Go to YouTube to learn about how to take care of cast iron pans. One can use it on gas stove, oven, induction and even on camp fire (Off course you don't want use metal in a microwave). Will buy more cast iron cookware in future. I'm a little bit disappointed with the packaging as it was not packed in a box and there was no bubble wrap up around it.

Great for grilling a single sandwich or slice of bread
Especially when you don't want the hassle of cleaning up after toasting or grilling just one or two sandwiches. This little pan is exactly the size of a slice of bread. Great for a bachelor pad. Also ideal for poaching an egg or grilling a slice of bacon or a couple of sausages. Can also fry fish in this, the only downside being there are no square lids to close and prevent the oil from spluttering all over the place. Great product.

Uniform heating, Non-stick
Great product. Heating is uniform across the pan area. Does not stick, does not have tefflon. I've always askeds why I can't get a square omelette to sit on my square toast. Now I get that! The product headline description is correct - it is a 5 inches square pan. The item desciption needs correction. It's dimensions are not "Item Dimensions L x W x H 25 x 25 x 25 Millimeters." It's diameter is not 5" because it is not round. The correct dimensions are: LxWxH 5" x 5" x 3/4"

Sturdy and heavy duty.
Very handy and sturdy. Appropriate size for Tomagayoki. Cleaning is bit difficult and sufficient oiling needs to be done on cooking 1st time.

Bit expensive for the Indian market but the results are amazing

Appears to be repacked.
As seen in video, pan is left loose in box. With bubble wrap lying aside. No bill is enclosed. Black tape on 4 sides was only attached on one side. It was cut on 3 other sides. One edge of pan is ground off, showing shiny inner surface. Does not seem new. Seems like this is a product returned by a customer.

Years back, I was fortunate enough to have a hi-end gas stove/range, at which time I started to buy various Lodge utensils. Nothing is better than gas for cooking, nothing is better than cast iron. Now, after a separation, I no longer have the gas, but I still have the lodge cookware, to which I just added this as a fancy. It is really cute, kind of pointless because you can only do one item (sandwich, omelet, whatever) at a time, but really fun nonetheless. Ideal if you are cooking just for you. It is great for quickie breakfast bits . . . Like anything Lodge makes, it is excellent . . . and if cared for properly, will last forever. Cast iron, if used properly is far superior to anything else for cooking. It's heat retention (and consistency) is a huge plus when you are cooking. There are other cast iron manufacturers out there, most of who dress up their cookware with enamel coatings which look really fine, but are a double edged sword. They cost a fortune compared to bare cast iron . . . a lot of people will foolishly scrub the surfaces aggressively with a scouring pad, thus putting minute scratches into the surface and making it LESS non-stick, and finally, they are little more than a fashion show for your kitchen. Colour is nice, but honestly, a bare cast iron Lodge pan will do it for a fraction of the cost, and with less maintenance. The money you save will buy other pans, or a few bottles of excellent wine ;-) All in all, another great product from Lodge (I just ordered their wedge cornbread skillet also). I recommend that anyone who enjoys the kitchen try cast iron if you haven't yet. You won't be disappointed. Finally, anyone who is using a mix of pans, i.e. other materials that usually have insulated handles, BUY a dedicated silicone grip for your cast iron . . . otherwise you will probably spend suppertime in the ER having burns attended to. The handles get hot, and if you are used to grabbing your t-fal or whatever, it is only a matter of time before you burn yourself . . . get silicone grips

Awesome price, quality (it's LODGE!) sized for one person and bakes the best cornbread ever. I love this little cutie, perfect size for one person and fits in the air fryer! Heats like a dream on my glass stovetop. Great for crisping up grilled cheese, one burger, the list goes on and on.
