This review has been a long time and coming, however, I feel I can accurately and honestly review this mattress now. So buckle up, it’s going to be a long ride :) I purchased this mattress on April 3, 2019. When looking for a mattress I wanted something affordable but also comfortable, as I was a full time college student and five months pregnant at the time of purchase. When I ordered this mattress it arrived in two days via prime shipping and upon arrival and opening, the mattress was fully inflated to its 12 inches by that night, and I (even while pregnant) did not notice a strong smell/ odor. Since that day, this mattress has been through five moves, two different states, and we have since added a second child to the family. I feel it is worth noting that both of our kids sleep on our bed, therefore, each night our mattress has roughly 315 lbs on it (currently). To this day our mattress is still holding up just as good as the day we received it! It’s still 12 inches tall (see photo attached- taken day of review), survived being strapped to a car through our various moves, two of which were from Tennessee to Minnesota, and then back. Survived, well rather surviving two kids, an infant and toddler. Our toddler loves to jump, wrestle with dad, and insists on being body slammed on said mattress every single night. So it’s definitely been broken in. In terms of softness/ firmness: I am a side and stomach sleeper, and my husband is a back sleeper, we both sleep great, experience less aches and pains, and wake well rested. We have used the mattress without a topper and it sleeps great without one. All in all, I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone! I have attached a photo of our mattress as of today (it is in black and white to hide the stains from milk spillage, nighttime accidents, etc.) to try and show that it’s still (in my opinion) in perfect condition with no sags or lumps. And because we are now a family of four our queen is becoming a little small, so we plan to purchase the king and place it beside our queen to have one large mattress. After a few months of use I will update the review to include the king mattress review, however, I don’t see much changing in terms of my opinion. For the price point, you really cannot find a better mattress!

This is the third Mattress America Revive Mattress I’ve purchased in the last six months. I bought the first one (a size queen) in August 2020 for one of our guest rooms. Everyone said it was very comfortable so I ordered another queen for the second guest room in October 2020. Before replacing our master bedroom mattress we slept in one of our guest rooms to try the Revive mattress out and ended up purchasing another one in February 2021 (king size for the master bedroom). I prefer a little softer mattress than these medium firm ones so I knew prior to buying it I would be putting a topper on it/the king size one. The topper made it a perfect top softness but still firm enough at the same time to make me and my husband happy. All three mattresses arrived wrapped very well and the directions were easy to follow and set up. Tips: Before opening the last layer of plastic which inflates the mattress make sure the bottom side is actually facing downward. The mattress inflates real fast making flipping it a challenge if you don’t have it the right way. Unzipping the cover all the way around helps the ends and corners to fully inflate. I gave all of them a minimum of 72 hours to completely inflate. They’re between 11 1/2” to 12” checking different sections all the way around the mattress. They’re very high quality, clean, have no smell and come with a really nice cover. Hopefully, they’ll hold up well for many, many years but for now I would recommend these mattresses.

I’ve had this mattress for about two years now, and I couldn’t be happier with it. When it first arrived, it came compressed in a box, and the expansion was pretty quick, it reached its full 12-inch thickness within a day. There weren’t any uneven spots, which was something I worried about, but it settled nicely. The mattress has a good weight to it, heavy enough that it feels substantial and doesn’t shift around, but still manageable when we had to move it into place. Once it expanded, the fit was perfect on my queen bed frame, no gaps or overhang. The gel memory foam has held up really well. It’s just as supportive and comfortable now as it was on the first night, and it hasn’t flattened out with daily use. For me, it’s the perfect mix of cozy and supportive, and I still wake up without aches.

This is my second go-'round with memory foam mattress on Amazon. I'm going to be straight with you. It appears to be a crapshoot. Foam beds don't store well. They're being shipped months after manufacture even though the manufacturers all clearly state they're to be unboxed 72 hours after you get them. I purchased this bed to replace a bed I bought from a different manufacturer/seller. The defect? It was mildewy and didn't rise fully. It sat in storage eleven months according to the manufacturers tag. That being said, THIS BED, HERE: *Came EXACTLY when it said it would. *Came rolled BUT NOT FOLDED. The box was long and, at first, I thought it was awful because the box was hard to maneuver alone but.... I'll get to that. *Took off initial plastic, only to find mattress was vacuum sealed in more plastic! I was BENT for a second....and then I unrolled, easily, by itself and was easier to maneuver into place without disturbing the bunkie board with it on *Because the mattress was rolled the short way, it was easy to just roll it out and then release the pressure on the bag and CAREFULLY cut away the plastic. Once I broke the seal it *Puffed right up to ten inches. In an hour, all 12. *Doesn't smell like chemicals *Is reasonably firm *Has NO BAFFLE on the side, so you can't sit on the edge, had to take a star for that. *Is otherwise a pretty great bed, for the money. *The cover is EXACTLY as nice as it looks. It's definitely decent quality. If you're hedging, don't. If this is your price range, this is the one.

My brother first purchased this mattress and gave nothing but the best review. I was able to lie on it for a few minutes and how can this mattress be so comfortable by being both soft and firm... sounds confusing right? I then ordered for my teen daughter but before I did I read reviews but became very concern with stories of mold, not decompressing to full size, lopsidedness, you name it. Let me tell you I did not experience any of that. The mattress arrived in less than a week. Yes the box was a little beat up. Once removed from box we gave it 36 hours to take it's true form. Like from other reviews, we did unzip the cover all the way but kept it on. By the 36th hour it had inflated to 11.5 inches which we could live with. My daughter often tells me how comfortable her bed is. This was our first mattress in a box purchase and all I can say is... Wow! I will have to do an update in a few months because I also read that it doesn't keep it's comfort after a few months... Great value is all I can say so far. Both comfort and quality, especially for the price. If you buy a spring mattress for same price you will definitely not get the same comfort. Also about it getting hot, according to my daughter hers feel and stays cool.

Ok, this was an important decision for my wife and I. My last mattress was a very expensive Tempur-pedic but it got mold while in storage. We have been sleeping on a pillow top spring mattress to hold us over but our backs are killing us so we need a new mattress even though money is tight. I have never bought a mattress untested or online so I was very skeptical. I read a ton of reviews and even checked the reviewers as I believed like most companies, they were more than a few company sponsored reviews. I decided to take a chance on this mattress as the price was good and the reviews seemed favorable. I must say that the experience so far has been excellent. The mattress came very quickly, unpackaged easily and was ready to use the very first night. I had read in a few reviews that people had problems with the corners decompressing so I was very conscious of this issue. I unrolled the matress onto my boxspring and opened the plastic, the bed immediately started decompressing almost to completion within 20 minutes or so. I did notice that the head and foot of the mattress still seem to curled up and the corners had not fully decompressed. Upon touching the corners I realized that they seemed bunched up inside of the cover so I immediately took the mattress out of its cover. Almost instantly the corners fluffed up. I would say within six hours or so the mattress was fully decompressed and ready to sleep on. I put the mattress back in the cover and slept on it that night with much delight! The mattress so far has been extremely comfortable. I like a mattress a little more firm and my wife likes it a little softer but we were both happy with the firmness of this matters. To be honest my only concern is how this mattress will hold up over time. After only a week everything is perfect but I will try to follow up with a review in a year or so to speak on quality and durability. Honestly at this price if I get one year out of this mattress I will be happy, two years I will be elated! I can find zero fault with this mattress or the company at this point. For $250 this is a great buy! I do think it is important to take note that I took the mattress out of its cover to let the corners fully decompress as I have read multiple comments saying the corners did not decompress. I can only imagine that the mattress shifted in its cover when it was compressed at the factory and thus the cover can be what's preventing it from fully decompressing. I hope this helps! Thanks

It’s a pretty good mattress not too soft but not too firm

I wanted to LOVE it..I went AMAZON TO READ reviews, BEFORE I CHOSE THIS...... MANY 5 STARS..not too soft, not too hard..? Saw lots of 5 stars. .lots of couples loving it. Then very rare, bad reviews. Some said Way too soft,??? Then lots of Great 5 stars, then .. to another less stars.to 1 star. All the reviews I read 5 stars , said bed raised up fast..too 12 inches , fast..( reason I thought wring bed? then another bad review , Saying way too hard?.. but lots of reviews averaged to almost 5 stars..also AMAZON .. Tagged as Amazon Choice...!!! Again I wanted to love this bed.. Plus not one piece of paper work, came with it, to back up the try it for so many days...or the actual Warantee? Nothing.. I found Company of Bed , on Website to see if they backed up warantee, if I could send them picture of bed next to Ruler to show ..it will never be 12 inches...and ask them if maybe adding 2 inches of missing, softer layer might help? I WROTE EMAIL, SAYING, I DID NOT WANT TO WRITE A BAD REVIEW ..hmmm , I emailed before review..told them I needed help , thinking maybe they accidently sent a 10 inch, firmer bed...the box was hard to get in room, heavy..again I am 71 small old lady..Needed help from injured. Surgery recovering husband.. HOW WAS I GOING TO HAUL THIS to UPS, TO SEND IT BACK. 10 inch Queen bed..? .Now that is a sparse 10 inches .( makes me sound like my gramma) .AT 9 DAYS OUT. No where near 12 inches.. BUT RESPONSE, to me , was To contact..Amazon.? ..not them?..no suggestions.. no oops. No let's work with You.. .they could not answer question, was it just wrong bed, could they maybe send missing softer layer? It would fit inside the cover....could they just send a trade, real 12 inch? Then , pick this one up? Only tried 2 times to sleep on it...after 5 days. Could not fall asleep.. absolutely no sink into it like other reviews.. wanted to ask, Just deduct down to price of 10 inch bed, so I could buy a 2 or 3 inches memory foam topper. And keep it... Seriously wanting to work with them , and not write THIS BAD REVIEW...because humans DO SOMETIMES make mistakes. So buyer beware!!! I am 71. NOT much over 5 ft.1 inch. .woman.. wear medium clothes, am fit.. strong bones.. but Horrible car accident in 1987... back surgery through chest, to remove 2 RUPTURED disc into spinal cord..then Fuse 4 vertebrae..using pieces of ribs.., 3 weeks INTENSIVE CARE, Then 2 more weeks. UCSF. First time I slept on foam was a 5 inch latex just foam topper.. better that any topper of those days..was .used on hospital bed, after that surgery.. that also lost 2 ribs and bottom lobe of right lung... I survived.. But that foam bed topper thick was life saver.. My husband is 6 ft 2, 82 years young. 185lb. Recovering from broken hip. Partial Surgery to replace hip ball. top of femur.., because his socket bone was still good..And a disc into his spinal cord from same fall....just needed to feel like all the reviews claimed. Nit too soft, not too hard. BUT AFTER 7 DAYS ( now 9 days).....WARM HOUSE..IT IS EQUALLY ALL SIDES UNDER 10 INCES,, I ORDERED 12" THE AD on Facebook, SAYS 12" NOT TOO SOFT, NOT TOO HARD......maybe it just needs the 2 INCHES, it is MISSING, with a soft memory foam topper???.. HELP! I TRIED TO FALL ASLEEP..JUST WANT A LITTLE GIVE SO SHOULDER HIP , OR RIBS NOT HURTING...OR SO MY ARM DOES NOT GO DEAD...,, I NEED THIS TO BE BETTER. I LOOKED FOR A MONTH,,, ..READING REVIEWS. THEN AFTER FINDING OUT. HOW HARD ? , How FIRM IT IS...THEN WONDERING? Maybe I should have checked web site... .then .. went through so many Bed advertisements.. AM, I cant sleep.. this is 2nd night I tried.. I am sooooo sad.. it is 4:35 AM.. went back to older Tempur pedic... I Finally went to Company web site..looking for a reason this bed has little give on top. I sleep on side, my hips and shoulder hurt.. #2.. IT IS VERY FIRM.. ON AMAZON, REVIEWS SAY, SO COMFORTABLE..not too hard , not too soft..just right.. MAYBE NOT BEING 12 INCHES? NOT QUITE 10 INCHES.MORE LIKE 9 3/4 INCHES. My husband trying to heal from broken hip, then same fall, has disc into spine.. he can't even try to lay on it.. It was Daughter and my Grand kids that said too hard..(( THIS BED WAS FOR GUEST ROOM. For my Daughters and Their Kids to Visit.. It was Grandkids who said , boy it is hard??.. But We ( old people) were Going to use it, while , whole King size bed goes through cleaning..cover and bed.. because of Blood. Hemorrhage, from my husband after surgery. The Complications from Blood thinners.. SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG BUT , I NEEDED THIS TO WORK.. IF I HAD NOT TRIED IT , after waiting for the extra 2 inches to just pop up. After 5 days, ?. I would have had house guest , another daughter , from 4 hours away.that might have had sleepless nights. BUT THE PROS: IT HAD ABSOLUTELY NO BAD ODOR, NOTHING..JUST NEW AND FRESH... IT IS BEAUTIFUL. LOOKS AS GOOD AS OUR 2 TEMPUR PEDICS- SERIOUSLY THE MATTRESS COVER LOIKS THE SAME.. SOFT, PLUSH GIVES.. TO ALLOW THE MEMORY FOAM TO RESPOND. MY TEMPUR PEDICS , ARE FIRM BUT HAVE A SOFT COMFORT LAYER... YOU SLOWLY SINK INTO.. JUST ENOUGH, NO SAG. THIS BED LOOKS GREAT. .IT HAS A SOFT TO TOUCH SURFACE, BUT HURTS..NO SOFT , SLOW BODY HUG, SUPPORTED CRADLE. GREAT LOOKING , IT IS EVEN , ALL ACROSS ALL SIDES , WITH SAME SPARCE 10 INCHES... NO LOW OR HIGH SPOTS...IF YOU LIKE FIRM? .. BUT WHY GET FOAM , MEMORY OR ANYTHING? JUST GO GET A HARD MATTRESS..
