BRADDELL FL-41 Rose Tinted Blue Light Glasses for Migraine Light Sensitivity, Eyestrain and Fluorescent LED Glare (Aluminum)

I am sensitive to the ridiculously bright LED headlights nowadays and especially when the idiots don’t dim them to an oncoming vehicle as they are SUPPOSED to! These glasses help quite a bit. And they’re not a stupid large size like some “night driving glasses.”

These work super well for me when driving to prevent issues that happen with various lights. Yes, they definitely help with preventing my optical migraines. But they also help a lot with being able to see in certain conditions despite blinding lights from other cars. They're a little dark to wear at full night, but before it's completely black night, and anytime during the daytime, they're amazing and help so much. They let me see everything incredibly sharp, the way that other glasses claimed they would but never have. Right now at the time I'm writing this, I see they're not in stock anymore. That's unfortunate, I hope they get them back in. They're not the most fashionable glasses, but they work very well, and I did like this style better than their other styles. The wider lens length is better to help block lights and the sun and still see well, without having a big heavy giant pair of glasses still on your face. They're supposed to be for certain light issues, and for seeing better and sharper while driving, and they do those things extremely well.

These glasses look just like the picture. They feel like they are sturdy and well made. I have only had them for a day and a half, so I can't speak to whether they scratch easily. They come in a protective box with a small cleaning cloth. They don't feel too heavy on the bridge of my nose, but the bottoms of the frame block my view of my keyboard when I glance down at the keys while typing. I'm sure I'll get used to bringing my chin up a little to see down at my fingers when necessary, so not a deal breaker there. This is my first experience with computer glasses and I am impressed. I don't feel like I'm squinting all the time and I don't feel like my eyes are bugging out either. I have been working a lot of 12 hour days lately and I can definitely feel a different between how my eyes felt at the beginning of the week vs how they feel now wearing the glasses at the end of the week. I highly recommend them.

Before I start in on my review, I just wanted to mention that I am nearsighted with perfect vision up close sans contacts. I currently do monovision so I only wear one contact which is in my right eye. These glasses did not distort my vision in any way. I was recently diagnosed with Blepharospasm. This is a rare neurological condition that affects the eyes by causing a loss of control of the eyelids. Thankfully mine is mild but it can progress. There is no cure just as there is no known cause but light sensitivity seems to go hand and hand with it. Some of the recommendations to help with triggers is wearing sunglasses outside, even when cloudy, as well as wearing FL-41 glasses when working at the computer or when in a room with bright lights. My job consists of working at a computer and my office has flourescent lighting. I started noticing the twitching was always worse when I was at work. I decided to look into FL-41's. Since this was something new for me, I didn't want to spend too much in case they didn't work for me. These were priced well and so I ordered them after reading the measurements and determining that they should fit. They arrived quickly and were packaged well. The glasses came in a nice box with a cleaning cloth and a limited warranty card. The frames feel sturdy and the lenses are wide enough to block out light on the sides. Although that's good, I do feel like that makes them a bit too big looking for my face. Regardless, I didn't buy them for fashion but figured I'd mention it. The lenses are tinted enough so that light is muted but not so much that I can't see indoors. After wearing them consistently at work, I've noticed a decrease in my eye spasms. As far as feel, the nose pads can cause me some discomfort with prolonged use. I have been looking into maybe buying some adhesive pads to help with that. Aside from that, they feel light on my face and the arms are comfortable on and around my ears. I'm considering buying a second pair so I can just keep one pair at work as I have used them to watch TV when at home. If you are looking to try out FL-41's and don't want to spend a lot of money while determining if they will work for you, I do recommend BRADDELL OPTICS as they are an affordable and quality option.

These glasses are great eye relief. You can wear them indoors or outside. But be careful with them. The lenses are glass and will crack easily if not handled properly. I found out the hard way. But ordered another pair. More careful now.

I have been getting migraines with aura since I was in high-school. They have been infrequent for about 20 years then about 6 years ago with a career change I now sit at a desk working on 3 pc monitors for 8 hrs a day. With that change my migraines have increased to the point of once a week sometimes during work or just after work. In trying to figure out what my trigger was they all came down to looking at either a blueprint on my screen with a bright white background, or a bright of light reflecting off of something. With these migraines really affecting my daily life (my aura is always the same almost stroke like symptoms. Blurred vision numbness in an arm and confused speach) scary for people who don't know that unfortunately this is normal in my case. Needless to say that when this happens while working I cannot continue to work. So anyways doctors just want to get you on medication which so far has not lessened the intensity or prevented my migraines as they are supposed to, I decided to purchase a pair of FL-41 glasses after doing research myself. I have had these since the beginning of July and have only had 2 migraines both started when I was not wearing these glasses. So to me the verdict is in. My only complaint is that the nose piece is different than what is shown and is a bit uncomfortable after a days use. I wear these all day until the sun sets then give my nose a rest.

I bought this due to photophobia I was left with post viral infection. Tried a number of other glasses but these hit the right ratings and have protected my eyes ever since! I've been weaning my eyes off them for the last year and almost back to baseline so can't thank the manufacturers enough for producing something that isn't hundreds of pounds! The trade off is they're not particularly nice or stylish but they do a solid job for the price.

I received these as a gift after a stranger saw my posts about migraines. I've never thought about getting tinted glasses to combat my headaches and sore or tired eyes from heavy screen time at work. But now I'm wondering why I never tried some before! These actually help a lot. Very pleasantly surprised. Would recommend if you game or work on screens for long hours.

Although not the biggest fan of the design, man the build quality, the lenses quality are second to none!
