Women CAN use this. Women have a thinner scalp and 2 % typically is enough. After using the 2% for a year the results were too slow, and the coverage wasn't enough. So, I switched to the 5%. Now I'm getting more results and better coverage. Women only need to apply it once a day, men need to apply it twice a day.This is the only 5% brand I could find that wasn't oily or left a film in my hair.

OMG!!!!! I REALLY LOVE LOVE LOVE this oil! My husband have thinning hair and bald patches and it has truly been a great help in his problem areas especially on the crown.He was leary at first but I put the recommended drops to the crown of his scalp and rubbed it in well (great head massage) He went to sleep. Been using the oil for a week and I already can tell its working. My husband said that the rest of his hair also feels soft and moisturized.
