Shredded Cardboard!
I don't know how it's possible to mess up such a basic food product like this, but they have. These shredded hash browns taste like fried strips of paper. I've tried everything to make them edible...different oils, different amounts of salt, undercooking them, overcooking them, and they keep turning out bad.I can't recommend these. Don't be swayed by a deal here, go for Ore Ida or another name brand.YUCK!

I like to keep some in the freezer
I like to keep some in the freezer. They do taste great after adding salt and pepper. Do take a little more work than expected, but nice to have once in a while. I have tried both the stove and the oven. Oven they seem to turn out crispier, however you have to take them out, mix up the tray, flatten again, and cook. I do this at least 2x to get a nice even crispy cos, and so they are thoroughly cooked inside.

Simple and taste great
I like the fact that I can pour a little or a lot in the pan depending on how much I need or want to cook. I put in a frying pan and I will say make sure you check them after five minutes flip over and another 5-6 mins add your salt and pepper or omit but these are GREAT

Not shredding potatoes anymore!! This is delicious!
I make everything from scratch but these hash browns are very good & easier unless you have a leftover baked potatoes. You can have hash browns anytime you want. I made corned beef hash from my leftover killer pastrami from the deli.

So-so
I purchased these because I could not find simply potato hash Browns at Walmart. The 1st thing I notice is they are extremely wet, making up a larger percentage of volume so you get less. Being that saturated they take far longer to cook. Part of the issue is the outside will start to get Brown in the inside will will still be overly moist. Not a bad product, just not a great product. I'm used to Simply Potatoes brand or shredding my own(storage life for home grated is a pain). I would recommend if you are a once in awhile hash fan, but if its a 2 to 3 times a week staple, then no

A standby staple
Good freezer staple for making production line breakfast burritos and breakfast bowls to microwave hot for weekday breakfast. No extra seasonings, so I can add my own combinations to complement the combinations of ingredients including scrambled eggs, cheese shreds, ham or bacon, and some carmelized onion or sauteed mushroom.
