PRESSOGNO 60 Pack NESPRESSO Compatible (OriginalLine) Coffee Capsules - Italian Premium Café Espresso Medium (Pianosa)

This by far has the best crema of all Nespresso compatible capsules I have tried thus far. I tried to capture it in the attached photos. Its color and thickness almost equals the original Nespresso. The taste and smell is equally impressive. During the extraction, I can see that coffee flows out with ease and with good consistency. I’ve experienced with other compatible capsules where it seems to be straining to come out. The taste I would say most closely resembles an actual shot of espresso. This is what really surprised me. Other Nespresso compatible capsules I have tried are never this strong. One thing I noticed is that I can really feel the caffeine kick right away with this brand; maybe it’s because they are sealed with nitrogen keeping the ground fresher. This will be my go-to drink before going out for a run. I will definitely buy this again.UPDATE: 3-18-18I absolutely love this brand. The flow rate is very consistent. The aroma during extraction is pretty darn close to Nespresso. And the taste again is full and complex.

Coffees are inferior to Nespresso varieties and are a bit weak and lack complexity, about what you'd expect for the price. However the real problem is about 1/3 of pods exploded in my machine and were unusable. The problem is there is a thin foil seal on the bottom of the pod rather than the solid structure of the Nespresso units. This foil pops off during extraction sending coffees grounds everywhere and wasting the pod. With the waste factored in these are more expensive than the Nespresso.Update: The needles in the machine were not punturing the bottom foil of the pod causing pressure to build up and thus the exploding pods. Holding the handle down during extraction with extra pressure seems to fix.

I absolutely love these coffee capsules! The quality is every bit as good as the Nespresso brand, and thank GOODNESS there are no decaf capsules in the set. The crema is rich and thick; the espresso is smooth and flavorful. The three intensities are perfect for a variety of espresso drinks: Americano, Mocha, Macchiato, Latte, etc. After "testing" these out for two months (I've bought five or six packs of these by now), I will vouch for the consistent excellence of this product. A definite keeper, and my favorite treat!

The Pressogno espresso pods are very good. I am enjoying the taste and trying the different strengths . I appreciate the price for these Nespresso compatible pods. I would recommend.

I absolutely LOVE these Nespresso coffee capsules I bought from Pressogno. The taste of each flavor option is delicious for my lattes and the price is unbeatable. I will highly recommend them to my friends.

One of the reasons I purchased an Original line Nespresso Cititz was because of the availability of lower costs compatible pods (didn't want to be locked into the cost of the VertuoLine pods as a new buyer of the Nespresso product). Started out by getting a feel for the machine and coffee with the Nespresso samples that came with it, and then purchased these PRESSOGNO branded capsules. I have to say that both my wife and I were pleased with them. All three flavors come through nice and strong on the machine on both espresso and luongo settings, and as another reviewer commented I feel the kick of the caffeine almost right away. The Forte flavor was my favorite, but the clasico and medium was also very good. Non were overly bitter or acidic, and all provided nice crema and aroma.I didn't encounter any of the bottom blowout that some reviewers mentioned, so all good there from a performance perspective.The capsules are plastic, with foil on top and bottom. On being green, if you're concerned about plastic in the landfills like I am, on the used ones you can easily cut away the foil, dump the grinds into your compost or garden, and drop the capsules into the recycle bin. A bit tedious but not too arduous a chore.Overall I'm happy with this purchase and will purchase again once they are available. Actually thats what prompted this review, that I was looking to to re-order...... :-)

I thought that I'd give these a try, and have not been disappointed. Taste (to my palate, at least) is indistinguishable from Nespresso's.

Save tons of money and get equal or even slightly better product. I'm a coffee nerd and have worked for Starbucks for 12 years, Caribou for a few and Dunkin. I have a pretty advanced palet and this company has top notch coffee.

Received these today and put them to the test straight away,, I went for the espresso medium pod as I don’t like coffee that lingers in my mouth, I drink freshly ground coffee on a regular basis, but wanted to try these pods for my spare pod machine as they seemed a good variety at a very good price, and I have to say I found the blend that I tried to be just the right strength for my taste, and compared to the fresh ground coffee beans I usually drink (far more expensive than these pods) a good match was very pleasantly surprised, but I would add that if I needed to wake up I would probably go for the forte pod which is a stronger blendSmart clean packaging easy to useThey won’t last long, but I’ll be sure to other this again

Every one of these pods has caused me a problem. the foil top and bottom does present a problem of a weaker pods. every time i have used one of these pods my machine splutters and all of the coffee grounds get expelled from the pod and into my mug. Really disappointing. I have now purchased refillable metal pods and I empty the contents of these pods into the metal one because the coffee is quite pleasant. My machine is the Aldi Ambiano machine which is compatible with nespresso pods and i have had no difficulty with genuine nespresso pods or the aldi version so the problem is not down to the machine i am using.

I purchased this to make use of the nescaffe machine I have at work. I have been an avid tea drinker for many years but since trying these pods, I have been converted into a coffee drinker. The taste varies based on the pods, I order the medium as its the not too overwhelming but at the same time not underwhelming either. I prefer them with some sugar and frothy milk. They are great value for the price and I would highly recommend them if you have coffee pod machine. 60 Pack will last me over a month and overall

Delivery was smooth, they arrived quick and as expected. I normally used to order only drink instant coffee but now, having moved to machines, I don't think I'm turning back any time soon. Personally, I found the medium to be my favourite tastewise but, having three, I liked the option of exploring the different tastes and there should be something for everyone here.Overall these are great pods and I'd definitely recommend them as they've introunced me successfully into the wonderful world of Nespresso.

They arrived really quickly after I ordered them. They are really good value for money with the amount you get and taste wise. I drink a lot of coffee and these have to be the best capsules yet! They work brilliantly with my machine and I like the fact you get a variety of flavours, I will 100% be ordering these again.
