Comfortable and genuinely improves airflow
I decided to try the Airmax Nasal Dilator | Breathe Better and I’m really impressed with the results. Unlike nasal strips that sit on the outside, this works from the inside to gently open the nasal passages — and you can really feel the difference. It’s surprisingly comfortable once in place and doesn’t feel intrusive. After a few minutes, you forget it’s there. Breathing feels clearer and easier, especially at night or during exercise. It’s reusable, easy to clean, and feels well made. I’ve noticed reduced congestion and better airflow, particularly when I’m dealing with allergies or a cold. A simple but effective product from Airmax that actually does what it promises. Definitely worth trying if you struggle with blocked nasal passages or snoring caused by restricted airflow.

Not as comfy as the non-sport version, but they do stay in all night.
Having previously bought the non-sport version of the Airmax (which I found worked well but rarely stayed in all night) I thought I'd try the sport version. The sport version aren't as comfy (they have two small barbs to help keep them in the nose) but they do stay in all night so I'm happy wit them. I currently alternate between sport and non-sport versions on successive nights as I get accustomed to the sport version. If the sport version was as comfy as the non-sport and whilst also staying in all night I'd have given 5 stars.

Breathe easy
Don't need to buy anymore due to having the mite remover.

Worth a try
The verdict is out for me on these, having researched the reported benefits I thought enough evidence to take the chance, I think the cost is high given they’re a small moulded bit of silicone, but could be worse. They’re not particularly comfortable, although these sport ones funnily enough I find better than the standard sleep ones. But once in I do find a slight improvement to nasal breathing

Useless
I tried these after using Mute brand for the last couple of years. I use them to open my airways (badly deviated septum from an accident) for both sleep and running. I was interested in the sports version but they are literally useless and won’t stay in either running or sleeping. I think they are too small and aren’t seated high enough when inserted so just drop out, or it could be they’re too big and slide out but the one sure thing is this is just a bad design that doesn’t have anything to act as a retainer. The Mute design I was previously using has a circular section that grips the inner wall of your nostrils as you push it up inside and having had trial packs of the three sizes of Mute even when I use the small or large Mute instead of the medium which is my best fit they will still stay in and work ok. I did check the reviews of this Airmax brand before I bought them and some were positive - if so then I can only assume they may fit a very small number of people with a very particular nasal shape but it’s a random pot luck matching process. And not mine. Complete waste of £15.

Blisters
On the first night using this it definitely opened my nasal passages but it was uncomfortable, I thought it was due to newness and not being used to it so the next night I put it on and it was slightly irritable but I persevered because I could breath better and again thought it was me getting use to it but the next day after taking it out I got blisters in my nose. Yes… Blisters!! I’m a women with a standard size nasal passage, I bought the double medium package but I may as well have thrown £15 in the bin which is were these ended up.

Game changer
I have recently started running but was finding it hard at some points of my run where I was fatigued, I broke my nose years ago so struggle to breath through one nostril and my physio told me this is the reason, I’m not taking oxygen in because of my nose! I bought this to open my nose and it’s worked wonders! I feel brilliant out running and genuinely feel it’s because I can breathe properly, I also use it while sleeping to stop me snoring lol only issue I had was getting it fitted properly but that comes with trial and error, would highly recommended this product 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
