Brilliant product, seemed expensive, but was worth it

Used to keep patio doors from slamming shut in the wind. Worked very well at first however you easily forget they are there and go to close the door with them still in. This then puts too much pressure on them and they lose their shape making them less effective and can drop out the gap. Overall would recommend and are a good idea, but would suggest you go for a brighter colour if using on white patio doors to avoid forgetting about them and pulling the door shut.

These are cheap and do the job ok. Sometimes a bit fiddly to fit properly and they sometimes fall out, but the more you use them, you get the knack to fit them so they stay in better. Proper fitted door stays are far more expensive, so I'm happy with these.

Wouldn’t say it’s the greatest product ever made, but for the application it does what it’s made for.Find it hard to get it in the right spot for it to hold the door but once in and keeps the doors open even with wind blowing!

So impressed with this pair of stoppy doorsteps. They have a silicone, exterior with a metal, rigid interior. I opted for the ‘transparent’ variation which is more white than not and has the feel of a roll of sellotape! There is a huge variety of colours to match every decor.They are attractive and non-invasive; the rubberised exterior means that they are non-slip on tiled floors. They certainly perform to expectations. They have kept garden doors ajar and have similarly prevented internal doors slamming shut when windy outside.Versatile and practical I would have no hesitation in recommending these or indeed, ordering more.

Bought these to stop my patio doors from closing when there is a breeze when I let the dog out however they don't really work as intended because the doors get 'rocked' by the breeze and these then start get loosened and fall out. I placed on top of the hinge but it only stops it from falling on the floor for a little while longer
