It can be used no problem, but if you are picky with your needle dip you should ask for adjustments

This new model is a bit different but you really start to understand how awesome it is the more you use it. It is still as well made as its predecessor both in materials and in functionality. It is also nice to not have to juggle a notebook and a compass to get a good strike and dip reading since the cover plate becomes your flat surface.
