These were fit really weird almost like they’re designed backwards the back of the underwear, barely covered my ass crack I’m also pretty big guy and thought extra large would work if you’re over 63 and 200 pounds depending on your bill I probably wouldn’t get it again

I bought these for my husband as an alternative to cotton. He said they felt great, but they wore out quickly as he was using them for daily wear. We switched to Bamboo instead.

EDIT (early December 2023): it makes absolutely zero sense, but my review for Merino-Tech SOCKS appears to have been linked to their BOXER BRIEFS instead (this was not the case when I'd originally reviewed the socks). Sorry if you're looking for information about the boxers: Amazon has messed this up somehow (it was not my doing). I ordered these to have another comfortable pair of socks that go well with my black boots. They are a wool blend, so they kept my feet toasty in boots with the temperatures in the low to mid 40's. I'd probably use a bit thicker and more expensive wool sock (such as my Wigwams) if the temperature were in the low 30's or sub-freezing. As cold weather dressy-like socks these Merino-Tech's are very nice, and they are decently priced at the 8 dollar price point. While it's surely POSSIBLE to find wool-blend socks of similar thickness & quality in a multi-pack at a discount retailer (such as TJMaxx) at the 5-7 dollar price point, I almost always look for socks at those stores and have only occasionally found that type of deal for nice wool socks. If they don't hold up well to washing (I only line dry my nice wool socks, so these will never be beaten-up in a tumble dryer) then I might change my rating, but for now I'm going with 4+. My only knock on these so far is that the LARGE's are a little big on my 8.5 feet; the size chart could have easily directed me to the Mediums, but instead left me in no-man's-land by not specifying for half-sizes. However, I like the neutral gray color, they are comfortable on my feet, and they provide the warmth I would expect for a wool blend sock that is not super thick. Recommended! I will probably order more of them (in Medium) if they stay at this price.

These are nice merino socks. I really like that they have 85% merino wool, many "wool" socks on the market have zero to 20% wool which just isn't enough. No polyester in these, just nylon and spandex which are needed for elasticity, comfort, and they also make the wool a bit more hardwearing. These socks are not the super thick boot socks, but honestly I prefer that as they aren't so thick as to not fit in your shoes. They seem very well made and are comfortable. I have another pair of socks from this same company that appears to be identical though and this pair costs 150% as much, not sure why.

I have a size 11/12 foot depending on the day, lol, and these fit very comfortably. I have some other name brand cotton socks with this same design, having the arch support band, and thicker bottom than top. I liked it very much so was nice to find it in a wool for winter. Also notable is the fact that these are 85% Merino wool. Be sure to watch that when comparing prices of similar socks, some are as low as 25% wool. Which is ok in some instances, but just compare apple to apples. When you feel these socks in your hand they feel a slight bit scratchy, but not at all when wearing. If you are not familiar, that is one of the big benefits of Merino wool clothing over other wool. The Merino wool is not scratchy to the skin. I am very happy with the socks and even have ordered another pair !
