Love this brush
I needed to replace this’s same brush that I purchased at Ulta almost 15 years ago that finally broke. Great brush to use for drying hair with a hair dryer. Love it and highly suggest!

The best brush I’ve ever owned
I’ve had my cosmetology license for about 20 years and this was one of the first interesting brushes I’ve gotten. I purchased this years ago, used it repeatedly with clients and even for myself for over ten years til it broke. That was the saddest day ever for me! I searched for this specific brush for years after that yes I said I went out to search for this exact brush because I’ve tried to cope with the loss and guess what… couldn’t find a proper replacement until a miracle happened and it popped up here on Amazon. The hair gods have blessed me with this brush again here’s to another decade of this brush being my favorite tool!

Tames Coarse Dry Hair
This is my favorite hairbrush. I have frizzy coarse hair that’s hard to smooth. The oval Olivia Garden brush grabs and then smooths hair in one step per stroke. I purchase an additional brush whenever I can find one!

Excellent replacement for or travel use when electric blow dry brush not an option
I discovered my electric blow dry brush will not travel well. So I needed a large oval brush that would provide similar results while using a regular hotel blow dryer. This brush did the trick. It adds volume. It took me a couple tries and takes 5 min longer than using an electric blow dry brush, but now I feel I can have a similar blow dry/style/look experience. The brush is expensive but worth it. I ended up ordering an additional one to have as a spare. So far the bristles are holding well and I figure I will get several years use from each brush.Hair- shoulder length bob. Fine/thin, prone to slight wave and humidity frizz.

I love these brushes
These are nice and big and great for brushing and blow drying my fine, long hair. The only issue with them is that the rubber (not sure what elastomeric material) covering on the handle loses adhesion after a few years. It is still completely usable without the rubber cover if you want to take it off, but it’s a little less easy to hold when blow drying.I’m also still not totally sure what the best way to clean it is. I remove the hair, but the dusty crud can get tangled up in small hairs around the rigid bristles and be kind of a pain to remove. The large diameter is great, the venting makes sure it doesn’t get gross if you use it on wet hair/is great for blow drying. I love that it has soft and hard bristles in the same brush, but it’s large size on each side gives it the convenience of a paddle brush AND a circular brush. I don’t really need any other hairbrushes besides this one for home use, and will pay the price they ask for went time. Do note that it is a bit larger than you might want for travel or to stick in a work bag, but perfect for each of your home bathrooms, your parents’ house’s guest bathroom, etc

Two tools in ONE brush
I have super fine hair - and not a lot of it. I keep it at about chin length, worn in a simple page-boy style with bangs. I bought the size MEDIUM oval brush, which measures 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" including the bristles. As others have mentioned, this brush is SO lightweight, it's a joy to use - like a feather. But it has a nice, grippy handle so it stays put when styling. What I LOVE about this brush is that it's actually TWO tools in one: one side is kind of spikey with sparse prongs spaced far apart like a comb that I use to gently comb out my wet hair without any breakage. I also use this side of the brush to "part" my hair into sections while drying it - works like a CHARM.The other side of the oval-shaped brush has soft bristles that grip the hair while I lay the blowdryer on top of the brush. Since the entire brush is nicely vented through its ceramic core, my hair dries SUPER fast; the ion charged bristles also leave my hair silky soft and shiny.I just surfed up to Amazon after a single test-drive of my new brush to buy ANOTHER medium-sized one! I'll keep one in my travel kit, and one in my drawer at home. At 63 yrs old, it's nice to find the BEST hairbrush of my life - finally.

Ouch!
I liked this brush for the first week; but then the little rubber ends on the wire bristles started coming off. By the end of 8 weeks there are hardly any rubber ends left and the wire bristles are so stiff and sharp that it scrapes my scalp and I can't use this brush any longer. Very painful!
