I've used nuun in place of sports drinks for years, it's nice because with 10 tabs in the tube, as long as you can find a water fountain, you can make your own sports drink (just add 1 tab to 16oz of water). I'm also a person who enjoys coffee and caffeine, so when nuun came out with nuun energy, I was pretty sure it was going to be awesome! It's not a lot of caffeine, just the right amount to give you a little lift! Nuun recently changed the sweetener in the tablet, I like that it's all natural now, but the flavor is a little different and I'm still getting used to it. It still tastes good, and I use it more for the benefits than anything else (hydration). I'm a big fan of the Wild Berry flavor and recommend it to people who are active and need to stay hydrated!

The good: it works, It's handy and it's takes up very little room. I first bought this for vacation. I wanted to run but I didn't want to mess with premixed sports drinks. The (not really) bad: I'm not a big fan on the taste. It isn't awful, but it isn't that good. It has an alka seltzer like carbonation that does seem to help after a run (not sure why) . Also, you have to break the tablet to get it into a standard water plastic bottle. You may not want to put a lid tightly on this stuff when it's fizzing as it does build up a small amount of pressure I use this and will continue to use it for the convenience. I keep a tube at the office for lunch time runs. However, when I run from home, I choose Gatorade.

Wakes me up and helps after a dehydrating workout.
