First: handle carefully with gloves. It shapes well as you mould it, it is the proper thickness and width for my uses, and it adds the right amount of weight to the item as you build up layers.

I don’t fish anymore, but this is really handy for modeling projects. You can cut it, fold it, bend it and twist it into just about any spot where weight is needed. This is a lot neater and more usable than pellets or slugs.

Lead rolls what can I say

I got these to use as PWD weights. It was the cheapest lead per gram I could find without buying in bulk. Previously I've used 3/8" lead round rod, but I couldn't find any. This worked out perfect. I built a flat car (1/4" thick) and glued up strips of this stuff to add weight to the back.

They seem super super thin and fragile. however they really are quite ductile and flexible. As long as you don't make sharp bends you can twist and shape them in almost any way imaginable. I used 2 rolls to make a really small mini super-capacitor battery charged with baking soda and deionized water as the electrolyte. Works really good! not bad at all.
