It works, looks clean and is built strong. Back to clean AC in 10-15 minutes.
Arrived as advertised, install took 15 minutes with slight learning curve for this model heat pump and it fired right up as it did two days prior!Thank you for making a quality product and it hope the long term review will reflect a decent life span!We have many 'brownouts' and had another AC unit for out next door 36 hours prior to this one. Dirty grid power or regular outages of 5+ seconds are very hard on capacitors in air conditioners!I was curious so I looked into it and ~83% of all HVAC related service calls are capacitor related...I bought two for each unit so we have one sitting in the storage room to use as a quick fix next time one goes out.It is not about the quality of the capacitor as it is the amount of abuse the component takes.Signed of poor construction are barely starting the motor from day one to swelling of the can which indicates it was barely staying sealed when the insides want to blow up.The welds are great, can is clean, connectors are strong and sized properly. It provides the needed burst of energy to get the compressor running and I hope it continues for a long time to come.Best wishes and I hope this helps.

They said keep it short read the procedure on YouTube do it yourself..
Simple replacement for a homeowner with a little caution and paying attention to what you’re doing a seasonal check up person company told me I’d run between 200 and $300. I spent less than $15 .I am mechanically inclined, but it took about 17 minutes from beginning to end included, gathering up the proper odds and ends, needle nose, pliers socket set ,unscrew some parts, piece of cake.

So easy and inexpensive
Super easy, cost-effective way of getting your AC up and running again. The last time my capacitor went out, I was charged $350 to replace it. I later learned that capacitor replacement is one of the most common ways that companies rip you off. This time I spent $17 and it took me 15 minutes, start to finish, and I had never done it before. I watched a couple videos and that was it. Make sure you take a picture of your existing wiring setup before you pull the wires and just match it. I appreciate that I was able to order this part at noon and it was delivered around 4:30. Outstanding.

Easy DIY, Save Big $$$$$$$$$
After receiving a $750 quote for a capacitor replacement, we decided to go at DIY style.Honestly, electricity scares the bejesus out of me. Now you want me to discharge a A/C capacitor? I swear I watched many YT videos a gazillion times. We were ready.During the install we also super cleaned the drain pan, drain pipe, outlet, and outside coils.Matching up the capacitor with the old one is easy. Each connector is slightly different. 2 prong, 3 prong etc. Just switch over each connector one at a time.Oh the sweet, sweet sound of a working A/C !! After 10 minutes my wife the room vents. 81 degrees and dropping! We saved over $700. Literally amazing. Get a second capacitor too.

Size Matters
The capacitor works well as soon as it was plugged-in. However, I was focusing on the capacity and the voltage rating, but didn’t know the capacitors come with different sizes for the same capacity and voltage rating. Make sure you pay attention to the diameter 2 inches vs. 2.25 inches so you get the desirable size because size does matter…

Identical to the original and saved the day.
My pool pump quit. It kept popping the breaker. After a little research, it seemed the starter capacitor was the most likely culprit. Replaced the original with this and viola! All is well.A note of caution. Replacing capacitors can result in a VERY nasty shock. If you're not sure what you're doing, don't do it and get an electrician to replace it for you.

Excellent Product!
One of our three heat pumps stopped cooling on Saturday afternoon. The condenser unit fan was running along with the air handler, but the compressor on the condenser unit was not kicking on. I cut power, checked the capacitor with a meter, and determined it needed replacement. Matched up the capacitor size (30+5 MFD) and ordered this product from Amazon. It arrived on Sunday shortly after noon, and I installed the new capacitor later in the day. Restored power to the unit, which is running great and cooling again. This particular unit is a Bryant 1.5-ton heat pump split system. The new capacitor looks great and well-made, arrived quickly, and is working great. I would recommend it to others. The price is great as well, for under $20. It saved me about $300, which is about what I paid an HVAC company a few years ago to diagnose the problem and replace a capacitor on one of our other heat pumps.

For Jandy Stealth 2 HP Pool Pump
Good replacement for this pool pump. Easy swap out in less than 1 minute. Pump fired right up. The question will be "how long will it last?"
