The product sold by Amazon was past the expiration date.
I got a packet of Actinovate that was a month past the expiration date. Stale product, sold by Amazon. Should have noticed at time of delivery, now to late to return.

Check Expiration Date - expired 6 weeks prior to shipping
I bought 3 packages of Actinovate. All three had an expiration date of 4/18/18, 6 weeks prior to when I received them. These are expensive and now I have no idea to whether they will work. I needed to apply over the weekend, so no time to return. Very disappointing.

Product past expiration date
The product arrived with the expiration date expired. I returned it and the replacement also was beyond the expiration date. I have used the product before and it works great.

Effective as a soil drench for potted seeds - Damping off, root-rots etc.
I do flower hybridizing with plants who's seeds need to stay in the ground for almost 6 months before the seeds finally put up a leaf. I pre-sprout the large seeds before planting them, but even with that, I was loosing a lot of seeds to rots during the months that it takes for them to finally come up. Once the seeds did come up, often they would collapse as a result of root-tip fungus, which progressed up the root until the seedlings died. I've been using Actinovate for my first watering after planting the seeds, and then a second time in spring when the leaves first appear. This material has drastically cut down on my losses, and despite it's expense ( Thanks Monsanto, for doubling the price when you bought out the original company ) given all the time and energy I put into this work, if figure it's worth it. One thing to keep in mind is that temps need to be above 45* if the bacteria are going to successfully colonize plant roots and the soil. I need to put my pre-sprouted seeds in a location that's considerably colder than that, to give them the cooling treatment they need. So I plant my seeds, water them in with this product, and then let their pots sit at room temperature for a few weeks, before taking them out to the cold. I can't really speak to it's other advertised uses, but as a soil drench for susceptible seeds, it's made an effective difference for me.
