I love the color and metal body of the bottle, but I'm really unhappy with the cap. It quickly develops a moldy smell from the rubber seal, no matter how I clean it. This drastically affects the drinking experience, and I also worry about the potential health concerns it might cause. This is actually my second purchase of this product. I stopped using the first bottle due to an unremovable moldy smell from the cap. Since the replacement cap costs almost half the price of the entire bottle, I purchased a second one, hoping that with more care and frequent cleaning, the moldy smell wouldn't occur. I was wrong. The smell developed after a few weeks of use, despite my daily rinsing.

finish looks a little like etched aluminium with clear laquer over the top. same as for other traveller bottles only comment is that lids can need replacing and in australia these can be difficult to buy for a reasonable price
