I’m a crafroholic but very new to uv resin, I’m having a lot of fun with this! It can get a little messy especially if you don’t know what you’re doing lol but with a little practice that gets better. Very easy to use, cures quickly! The light does have to be plugged in when using as it’s not rechargeable nor has option for batteries. I bought some dyes to go with it and as long as the resin color isn’t too dark, the curing process is as fast and simple. Working on layers also helps! Love the silicone mixing cups it comes with. Great price too, I saw some of the supplies at the craft store and honestly, what you get with this kit would have been $45-50. I can’t speak on durability as I haven’t had it for that long, but I do appreciate that there isn’t a strong smell to it! Overall happy with this purchase.

I am not a huge fan of the typical resin that you have to mix (50/50). With this UV resin, there is no mixing involved. It is so easy to use. All you do is pour a little bit on the rock that you want to cover and spread it into a thin layer (with gloves on) to cover your rock, and then place it under the UV light that the kit comes with to cure/harden it. It is really amazing. There is minimal mess involved, and the resin does not have an odor like typical resin does. it is fully cured within about two minutes. The other kind of resin takes about 72 hours to fully cure. This stuff is amazing. I would give this more than five stars if I could.

Used this to cure the hole on fillable cups. Works quickly and seals well

I used this for decorative trays and it didn’t dry the best. It stayed a little tacky or sticky and was easily scratched. Works best on small projects where you would only need a thin coat.
