Good quality aluminium step edge, this was used as a friend's kitchen / dine has a slightly different height. The step was really easy to fit, and the best thing was the rubber is flexible enough that it was really quick to reinstall after the step part was fixed down. I ordered this off Amazon and fitted it for my friend and his wife, they are really delighted with it, and I have to be honest it looks really professional and it complements their kitchen style perfectly whilst remaining unobtrusive, the price was good too!

I used one of these to cover the corner of the tiled step leading outside of my back door. The edge of the tiles had become chipped (my fault - dragging heavy items in and out the door!) and this protector was the perfect solution for covering the chipped edge and providing a grippy non-slip surface. It wasn't really possible to drill and screw the protector in place so I just used Evo-Stick which worked really well. It was well worth the cost and I wondered if I should give a flight of stone steps at the front the same treatment for those icy Winter months, but when you tot up the cost of doing multiple steps the price soon becomes prohibitive. So yes, a good solution for where you really need it - not a cheap hobby for lots of steps. Also, if your steps are narrow you will be cutting them down and chucking the excess away. They should cost less than this as it's only a simple aluminium extrusion and rubber insert. Maybe it can be had in 2 meter lengths at lower price, I haven't looked yet.

Bought to finish an interior door step over tiles. i screwed them down, and the black insert has come away just once in several years now. Am happy to recommend, 4 years down the line, and still looking good!

Nice deep trim. Easy to fit. Rubber grip is removed to secure but when replacing do not pull on the rubber, it stretches so give it time "rest" before cutting Rubber to size.
