Jambu Women's Gwen Garden Ready Rain Shoe

These shoes were a gift for a person to go back and forth to their barn and doing barn work for horses. I saw them at one point and was told they were great in any weather, even in mud too! So as some time went by, I saw these shoes again and let me just say the person got a lot of use from them!

Love these shoes! I wear an 8.5 and the 9 fits well. These are my go-to shoes for running errands, walking the dog or just going out in the rain. I will always have a pair my house.

VERY CUTE and so far (just got them) seem to be just right for me. I wanted shoes that I can wear while working in the garden because all of my "sneaker" type shoes have that mesh material on the toe area and my feet get dirty when I digging/planting, etc. even when wearing two pairs of socks! I wear a size 7 or 7.5 depending on the shoe - ordered these in a 7.5 because I'll wear medium weight socks when doing yardwork in them Without socks they are a little loose, but not so much that I couldn't slip them on to go outside for the mail or paper. I have a medium width foot - probably go barefoot too much so my toes don't like to be squished and these don't feel too tight even with the socks. Can't comment on how durable they are, but so far I am very satisfied.

I wanted a pair of shoes I could wear when gardening. They needed to be waterproof, and be relatively comfortable. When I came across these, I decided to give them a try, especially since I was able to get them from Amazon Warehouse at a greatly reduced price.I have a very narrow foot, and since most shoe manufacturers don't seem to recognize that some of us have narrow feet, I have to hope that the shoes I get will run narrow enough so that, with some extra padding, they'll fit properly. Fortunately, these shoes run a bit narrow, so I was able to get them to fit by adding another insole and an insert with arch support.I've had other gardening shoes that had to be given away because they were so uncomfortable. These shoes, with the added inserts, are comfortable enough to wear for an extended period of time. I wouldn't use these as walking shoes, but they're fine for their purpose.While I wouldn't have chosen this color if paying full-price, the color is OK for the short amount of time I'll be wearing them. At least they're not pink!Overall, I really like these shoes for gardening purposes, and they seem to be sturdy enough to last for several years, if not longer.

I really like these shoes! I purchased them for walking in my “hilly“ backyard as I always slip on my grass. I ordered my normal shoe size 6 and my foot slides forward causing my big toes run into the end of toe box, though otherwise the toe box has plenty of room. I’ll not order a larger size as these shoes are quite wide and my narrow foot would likely swim in a larger size. I like these (and the textured soles) so much that I’m going to problem-solve, ordering heel and arch support insoles in the hope they will eliminate the sliding, holding my foot back. The length seems fine when I slide my foot backward into the proper heel position. I’ve worn these shoes out into my yard and their grip is impressive. Not only did I not slide on my grass, but I even ventured into a steeply angled ivy bed that I’ve steered clear of for years. I had absolutely no slippage problem navigating the bed. The shoes have also already suffered the indignity of a sizable drop of my dog’s loose stool. I merely ran warm water over them and every bit immediately rinsed away (I then used soap to disinfect). I’m really thrilled with these garden shoes. They are tremendously useful and the price is low, making this purchase one of my best!

I bought these shoes in October 2022 and by March 2023, a span of about 6 months, the plastic ripped on both shoes. I have livestock so I was looking for a cheap shoe that was waterproof to wear during my care and cleanup activities. These shoes were all that. They were very comfortable and easy to slip on. Unfortunately, after about 3 months, the inside fabric wore away. I was still able to wear the shoes. But when the plastic/rubber cracked on the sides, they were no longer functional as they were not waterproof. I will spend more money and buy a product that will last longer.

I put these shoes to the ultimate test. I didn't buy them because the were cute. Bought them to work in. As a matter of fact the first thing I did on both pair was pulled the shoe strings as they interfere with my snake gators. I have 10 acres of wooded land with 20+ years of deadwood, brush, fence line and tree over growth on uneven terrain. Hence the snake gators. They are water tight with a sturdy sole and the heel stayed put. I do wish the insoles were more supportive. However, they take a beating and keep on ticking. And better yet, they were cheaper then the first pair I purchased two years ago. Might add, they fortunately haven't been snake bite tested but they do protect my feet those nasty thorny plants the thorns from Lovus trees.
