EXTREMELY WELL BUILT AND SECURE FIT
The media could not be loaded. Rest assured these collars are staying put on the bar and will not budge! Taking them off and putting them back on is VERY smooth and easy to do. You press the button and unlock the collars. They will NOT come off accidentally, I can assure you of that. They are made of a very tough and solid plastic. The the inside of the collars that grip the bar are of a different solid material that will not slide around. One of the best products on the market. I love the red ones! The price is very reasonable considering how well built they are. At the same time they are not exactly cheap. Worth every penny though 🌟

So sturdy & they actually clamp around the bar and stay put! Plus the pink is cute & girly. Definitely worth the money. Easy to use, easy to clean what else can you ask for

Great collars for your Olympic bar.
This is the top of the line collars. You get what you pay for. Saw these at the gym and had to get them. Works great.

Grips Tightly, Opens/Closes Easily
First purchased a set almost 2 years ago. They worked and lasted so well, I bought another set yesterday. I have dumbells that work with 2" weights. You can turn the dumbbell into a vertical position with a 25 lbs. plate and it holds. Not sure I'd hold them over my head in that position, they do hold.

Lightweight and Easy to Use
These collars are easy to clamp and release. They're very light weight and keep the plates in place.

Lock Jaw vs cheapie Chinese rip-off brand
I am comparing this to another collar that I bought off Amazon for a third price.First, these are clearly using a much higher quality material. They feel very solid. The iron lab is made of cheap shiny plastic that looks like it would belong on a child’s toy. The Lock Jaw also feels noticeably heavier. On the cheaper collars, the rubber inserts are held in with screws. Whereas, on the lockjaws the inserts are nested inside of the mold. This seems like a much more durable design. The lockjaws also have a very satisfying and clicky spring action. The iron lab collars do not have a very strong click into place in comparison. To be honest though, the iron labs work fine for a third of the price. Functionally, both of these collars do their jobs for bench, deadlifts and squats.

Easy on and off and plates do not move
It's always hard to find a decent set of collars at my gym, so instead of spending time hunting for them, I decided to buy my own. I use these at the gym and home for lifts like squats, deadlifts, cleans, and snatches and have had no issues. I have not noticed any slippage even after dropping several times from an overhead position. The collars take some force to put on but are easy to take off. I have a cheaper set of LockJaw collars that came with my bumper plates, and they are much harder to take on and off. Other reviewers have stated they have had issues with slippage, most likely that is due to some type of manufacturing issue with the rubber gripping surface inside of the collar. I haven't experienced this and would have contacted the manufacturer for a replacement if I did. I'd recommend buying these collars; they're worth the price.

Solid collars that lock tight.
Heavy and solid. You can feel it clamp down hard, but taking it off barbells is easy as.

Highly recommended
I bought the original Lock-Jaw collars when they first hit the market about ten years ago, and they’re still working flawlessly. I wanted to get a second set and was debating between these Pro 2’s and the metal versions sold by Lock-Jaw and Rogue. I’m very glad I went with these, and the build quality is absolutely superb. Unlike the metal version, they are very light so you don’t have to compensate for the added weight.Although I never had any problem with the originals, it’s obvious these Pro 2’s will hold up to much more weight and shock. They are a bit less convenient to release of course, but these definitely feel much more secure on the bar. One thing that should be noted is that with the original lock-jaws once they were locked on, they didn’t move at all. That’s because the circumference of the collar itself became flush with the bar. With the Pro 2’s the collar itself doesn’t actually make contact with the bar, but only the rubber lining. This makes the collar ‘float’ over the bar, so it jiggles a bit if you move it. This actually makes it more secure as the collar is then resistant to any shock when dropping weights or if a loose weight slams into it.In all, I strongly recommend these. They’re definitely worth the money over any Chinese knockoff.

Great
Bought these to replace the basic ones that came with the barbell. The lockjaw ones are clearly quality products and are just really easy to slide on and off the barbell. Great product, worth the little extra.
