[Case+Screen Protector] Essential Phone PH-1 Case, Slim Hybrid Cover [Scratch/Dust Proof] Defender Shockproof Case w. Screen Protector Film (Hot Pink, Case +Screen Protector)

With so few cases on the market for this phone I was hoping to find a winner. The original description of this item implied that the back might be clear. It is not. I am still waiting on my phone to arrive so I cannot comment on the fit or how the buttons feel yet, but I can say that the build quality is on par with the popular TUDIA case. The "soft" insert is a little harder than the TUDIA case, and the outside part is solid plastic. The case itself seems less slippery than the TUDIA case. It is a little larger than the TUDIA, but the difference is negligible. Once my phone arrives I will update my review with fit and button feel.UPDATE:Ive been using this case almost exclusively since getting the phone. The fit is better than the TUDIA and with the soft-er inside piece I feel like it has a little more protection. The trade off is that hte case is a little bulkier, but coming from a note 4 in a Ballistic tough armor case I don't notice it. I got the package that comes with a screen protector, and the pair work well together. I have read lots of reports of screen protectors not working well with cases, and this one seems to be fine. It is a little short on the edges and doesn't have a notch cut for the camera. I cant say how well it protects, but so far its been good.Until someone makes a legit good case for this phone this will be my go to case.UPDATE#2Almost 6 months in and the plastic on the bottom of the case has broken off. No big falls, but a few here and there from less than 3ft. the corners look like the black coloring on the plastic have warn away from going in and out of my pocket. It might be time to look for a new case. Hopefully their are more options out by now.

A really good, snug case that has already been proven with one drop/phone got knocked off of a 5 foot book case without any damage. All the cutouts fit great for plugging in outside cables. I don't have the 360 Camera, so I don't care about that, but THIS case would not allow that usage. Buy the one that does. This solves the major problem with this phone, which is it's slipperiness, that with any incline at all, it will slip off of almost any surface and crash to whatever is below it. Not TERRIBLY bulky compared to the phone by itself, but let's just say getting it out of your pocket is much harder than without it. For protection, that is what I wanted, so I'm happy.

The case came sooner than expected, but that can't be said for all purchases. The case fits my Essential Phone very well with not much effort. My only problem is the screen protector. It covers the entire screen with no but out for the camera. Although that can be helpful from protecting it from scratches as well, It just seems so generic yet once it's on it looks like it was almost meant for it. The edges are not entirely good as staying down. It's not an annoyance completely, but It is noticeable that there is a little air lip around the film that you would have to edge out with your nails or something. I will test with other screen protectors, but the one that comes with it fits well and I feel more confident that it will be safe. Another little gripe is that that back is some sort of brush aluminum, but the kind that is cheap and if you have sweaty fingertips or hands you can feel the oils make the phone more slippery. Overall a safer upgrade for the phone from the Tudia TAMM case. Not to say that case is bad, but double layers is better than a single one. And at least it comes with a screen protector that works, not the best, but it works.

Fits very well. Screen protector fits like a glove. Makes a premium phone feel even more premium.

Feels real good in the hand. the bottom has a brushed plastic feel the sides are smooth. I wish the sides have the same brushed textured printing on the plastic that would make the grip much better. Fits the phone perfectly. no issues with the plastic and rubber two-piece sitting together nicely. I had this for almost a month. I had to remove the phone from the case one time. And was very gentle. But the small plastic bridge across the bottom of the case snapped days after I had taking the case off and put it back on. Never had any issues with my prior otterbox brand or similar of cases removing it. have not had any issues with other cheap cases breaking. This one was the first one. I am still using it however the bottom piece is just a little sharp to your hand after it breaks off.

When this case arrived I was shocked. The color is gorgeous and the back made it look like a quality case. However, I don't use it anymore. The purple part is plastic and it unfortunately snapped after I dropped it quite a few times. I also use my phone pretty religiously everyday and after about two months the sides of the case has rubbed off white making it look cheap. If you're looking for a case that will last this isn't it but for the price I'm not ashamed to buy another one after my other case fails especially because it looks so nice in good condition. This will work even better if you use your phone less frequently than I do !

Nice looking case that fits well. Cutouts for bottom ports, camera, and flash are all sized adequately. The cutout for the finger print sensor could be a bit more tapered to make it easier to access the sensor... Covers for the volume and power buttons also fit well, without requiring excessive force on press.My only complaint is that the corners on the back are showing signs of wear (see picture) after only about a month on the phone.

I think this case looks pretty cool, seems to be made from some quality material. Adds a bit of bulk to the phone but it definitely makes it less slippery.All the buttons work good still and the opening around the fingerprint sensor really guides your finger to it.Got it with the screen protector and it is a good fit. The screen protector doesn't go all the way to the edge (where the curve starts) so that it can lay flat on the phone and so far it looks like this is working well.Pretty happy with this purchase!

Pros :Case fits nicely, good feel and seems to be good quality.Cons :Case plastic is naturally white. It's painted black.The screen protector is just a plain rectangle. It doesn't take into account the front camera. After testing, it was affecting my photos.

Fits perfectly. Even with a cracked screen i still think there is a benefit of buying a case for my phone. I only wished there were already good casing when I bought my phone. I could have avoided having a cracked screen.

I was excited by the style/color, also got in black for my hubby, however not long after using them we noticed the color coming off the edges all around the case...just from going in and out of our Jean pockets! I'm really diasspointed, was hoping for more durability then that, the fit is great, but I would not buy another due to that fact, which is unfortunate as I feel the options are small for the essential phone. We now have our cases showing white all along the corners and edges. A case of you get what you pay for?

Bought this case for my wife's essential. Fits perfectly, no slop at all and no issues with any button compression as others have claimed about the essential cases. She is happy with its appearance, seems comparable to other prominent amazon cases i have bought like obliq and spigen.
