Cap Barbell Standard 1-Inch Grip Weight Plate | 1.25-50 lb Sizes

These are decent, cheap, 25-pound plate weights. I needed plate weights to help weigh down my punching bag stand (the thing would slide around after a good hit). These were the cheapest that I could find, and they look good, they're easy to carry, and they fit my punching bag stand (Everlast 4812). Some people grumbled about the boxing. Mine came in individual boxes; two were dinged up, one was okay. They're 25-pound weights in cardboard boxes; the boxes are gonna get smashed up (unless they're the perfect size for the weights; mine were not). The weights themselves were completely undamaged and unscratched. Perfect as far as I'm concerned.

25lb weights for $20 each is a great deal for weight plates (usually run at least $1 per pound) so I bought a pair. Pros: - Grip plates - holes are in perfect locations for many different exercises (one arm lifts, cross body lifts, overhead deltoid and tricep lifts, and core strengthening) - The coating is baked on, NOT PAINTED. Resistant to rust and chipping - Great size - the height of these plates and how high the barbell sits above the ground is perfect for deadlift starting position exercises. - Accurate weight - weighed both - both weighed in at 25lb +/- 0.2lb - Fits standard sized barbell/dumbbell with interior hole size of 1-1/8 in I only have one real con - the size of internal hole - this is where the patience comes in. I purchased 2 of these weight plates, but due to issues with quality control of the sizing/reaming (the holes were just millimeters too small), it took Amazon sending me 5 weight plates for me to receive 2 that properly fit my Onmie standard barbell/dumbbell set. That being said, Amazon fulfills this product so I just called amazon and everything was handled quickly and politely. So a con of quality control, but not of the actual product when manufacturered as intended. Overall, I would recommend this product. Easy to use grip locations and excellent size for use with a barbell.

These plates are exactly as described except for the color, which is more of a dark gray. Otherwise, they're perfect for whatever workout you choose to tackle. These plates are tough and the grips are perfect. I ordered the same brand 40lb dumbbell set and these plates to have a heavier weight set. My only gripe is that 3 is the limit per household, so I bought 2 "black" and 2 gray plates to even out my dumbbells and double the total weight. The size is pretty compact considering the grips, so they're pretty dense. Will order another pair or 4.

Got these before the pandemic. I got 4 plates at $3.99 per plate. Cant beat that new. Like the hand holes on them. Seem to be of good quality 5 stars. Its weights and cheap, cant beat it. if it gets beck down to this price, give them a check.

For the price these plates are fine. I especially like the open design and handholds for swapping plates. I was (and still am) satisfied with these, BUT did notice that I received the more roughly cast version compared to photos from other reviews (which might account for the recent price drop that finally prompted me to buy these). They still feel smooth to the touch and will not be rough on your hands, but there was a noticeable casting blemish on one of the two plates I purchased. It's really not enough to affect anything but is the main reason I dropped my score to four stars. However, I don't think you will find a better or even equal product at this price point, and if you actually notice any of these blemishes once you start your workout then it's probably not vigorous enough! These are a perfect match for the CAP Barbell CAP Barbell Threaded Standard Bar, 1-Inch, 250-Pound Capacity, 5-Feet .

Delivered way earlier than the due date which, since this was Christmas time during the coronavirus I expected it to come weeks later. However it came early! This is a very sturdy 1 inch weight plate. I believe it comes in a 2 inch option also but I was very happy because I don’t have a 2 inch bar and don’t want to buy one for $300!

The Cap Weight Plates are a great cost saving way to load up on your workout weights. The Grip Plates are much better than the standard Cap Plates in that the grip openings more easily allow you to move and transfer the plates without banging the around or catching your fingers. You especially notice it on the 25 lb. plates! In addition the Grip plates are more refined in their appearance and look way better compared to the standards. Occasionally you catch these as an "Add-On" item and the prices are incredible. The limit of 3 plates per weight is no big deal as I simply buy the other color version (black or silver) - sometimes just a slight bit more in cost. I wish they wouldn't put the bar code sticker and the state of CA warning on the plates - but no big deal. I've built up a nice set of (good looking) weights for a great price!

I just received my order for two of these today, and I am happy to report they look exactly like the one in the picture. They have a coating and the cut-outs, and they fit the 1" barbell that came with a 100-lb weight set I bought years ago at Sports Authority. I checked the local sporting good places and these had the best price, plus UPS delivered them to my door & I didn't have to mess with transporting them home. The biggest weights in the set I already had were 10-lbs each so these are a welcome addition to avoid having a lot of little plates on the bar, which is only 60" long. I don't have room in my house to get an Olympic bar setup right now; these work for me. I recommend these and will buy more if I end up needing more plates... still working my way up to that though.

Es igual que en la descripcion ya que compre el de 5 lbs. Cada disco por 75 pesos se me hace buen precio debido a la calidad y siendo de 1 pulg de ancho puedo intercambiar entre mancuernas y barra. A pesar de ser importado tardo solo 3 dias en llegar. Todo muy bien

10lb plates are perfect, no rough edges and fit a 1" spin-lock dumbbell handle with no issue. 10.0 on the scale for each. Slightly darker, taller (by about 1/8 inch) and skinnier (by about 1/16th inch) than my other older CAP plates, but work just as good.

Item arrived in a box. No damage observed and item was as advertised: A 10 pound weight plate made of iron for 1 inch diameter bars. The item comes as a single plate so if you need extra plates the quantity needs to be increased.

It took awhile to get my two 25-lb standard plates (understandable with everything happening in the world today), but I couldn't be happier with the quality. Glossy, no chips and good quality and a decent price too.
