Great quality and sturdy packaging to prevent breakage! Review: I simply LOVE this stuff. Sooo Good! I just hate buying food products from desertcart since they're always more expensive than at a store near me. It's just that I can't these anymore around us, so used some birthday money to go ahead and splurge on these from desertcart.

When I came upon these in my local grocery store, I thought I had hit the jackpot — great taste and texture in a bite sized product. When I found it available at Amazon in a 5 pack. I jumped on it. Then I discovered one shortcoming I can’t overlook. Due to the thinness of the cookie and maybe the packaging, much of the contents of the 5 ounce bag are broken into small pieces or crumbs (see accompanying photo) 20% are finely ground crumbs of no use at all. So despite a good taste, the product is not a good value, and unless they come up with a new, more protective case, I won’t be buying any more.

This product tastes as good as when we first encountered it at the big "C" warehouse store at one of their sample stations earlier this year. And true to the "C" form, they stopped carrying it for reasons unknown. It's been difficult to find at large area grocery stores (like Walmart, Kroger, and Meijer) but occasionally it shows up. When it does, the 5 oz packages (usually what the stores carry) has generally intact product with not much of the brittle turning into powder in the bottom. Unfortunately, with the different stages of handling within the Amazon corporate framework, including final delivery by the USPS who may have removed the use of the word "fragile" in their training videos, the brittle "Brittle" that we received was distributed in a form more like: 10% original pieces, 20% pieces broke in half, 45% pieces broke into 3 or more pieces, and 25% of what might have originally been pieces is now cocoa powder. At least Amazon tried to double box the shipment but it still didn't appear to help much. Bottom line: If you wanted 5 oz of Brownie Brittle in its original form, try to hunt it down locally and avoid this source. (Maybe if you wanted to change your "Rice Krispies" to "Cocoa Krispies", you could still make use of the remaining product and ordering it online works for you.)

I do not like the crunchy brownie bits or the outside edge from a pan of brownies, but I sure like Sheila G's Brownie Brittle. Good flavor, doesnt taste artificial. I usually buy their small packs , and I think I need to stick to those because this bigger bag was empty all too soon. I have no control!
