2 Thumb Putter Grip Light

I experienced a few "twitches" from my left hand when putting recently. Not sure whether this is the start of the yips - but was a bit concerned. A bit of investigation suggested that "the yips" is no longer regarded as an incurable disease, leading friends to avoid you for fear of catching it! There are now lots of grip variations to help. I thought I would try the 2 thumb grip approach. The wider grip means that there is much less scope for twitching wrists - but I was also interested in the theory that by having hands level, your shoulders are also level - so aligning correctly should be much easier.So I ordered one, and it came very quickly and with good instructions on how to fit it (including the inclusion of grip tape) and some pictures and guidance on stance and grip possibilities for its use.I fitted it onto a spare putter (Ping Anser circa 1980s) and have tried it out on the practice putting green. It naturally felt a bit strange, but I was putting reasonably well with it very quickly - and with no twitches.At the moment I putt better with my main putter (with traditional grip), as the twiches seem to have gone away for the moment. However I find it very reassuring that should some twitches come back, I have a solution. (Perhaps in itself, this strategy will stop them coiming back!)I shall work with the 2 thumb putter from time to time in the future. Who knows perhaps with more practice this could be my preferred choice.If you want to try this out, fitting onto your spare putter could be the best strategy for you too.

Very good I had it a few days later and I went straight to my own shop and got it fitted and I will never go back to the traditional grip you can get a lot more consistent with the putting and fits in my putter well

A good quality jumbo size putter grip. You have to know how to fit it yourself. Its not difficult but you need solvent and double sided tape. I already had these so it made sense for me and I saved £6.00 compared with buying from the local pro.

I can't understand why I don't see professional's use these. The likes ok Adam Scott and Sergio.If you have a problem putting using the 2 thumbs grip levels the shoulders and helps me hit on line every time. I only have to think about the distance.My scores are getting better every time I play now.

What can I say it has improved my putting so much and it has enabled me to lower my handicap. I have even fitted one for my friend as he was so impressed with my improved putting...

Just as stated and quick delivery

The putter grip is to flat and octagonal also a bit heavy. Don't like iti the width of the putter is fine but back to shallow
