Had to wait a while for delivery as i think it comes from the states, but its well worth the wait, especially if making Capt Eddie's "Shine Juice" as this is what he recommends. Will order again but probably well before it runs out!

The finish looks great with ease of use. Looks to offer good protection from the elements. Offers a thick coat and quick drying time. Not sticky but flows over wood. The finish is clear not amber which I was hoping for.

This is about the same costs as in my local home centers, but it's not always in stock there. I really like having the option of either an amber or a clear Shellac for different projects. It is very easy to apply, seems to last a good while for 1-2 years. The clean up is pretty easy with denatured alcohol and a glass jar. Mistake are pretty easy to fix, and I like that its basically as food safe as the coating on M&Ms, which basically use a variant of this. Good value for money, and it does seem to dry clear. It also dries quickly. I also like that it doesn't have bad fumes.
