Yes. You can unscrew it easily & refill it.

What's in it? i know that there are essential oils, but what else? is there a carrier oil as well? alcohol? water?

It does not contain alcohol, there is no mention of water, and I do not know what a carrier oil is, but there is no formaldehyde, no synthetic fragrance.
