The Veterinary Book for Dairy Farmers: 4th Edition 4th Revised ed. Edition

This book covers important aspects of the dairy industry, and is easy and clearly communicated to the reader.

A very comprehensive veterinary book for dairy farmers.. I would go as far as to regard it as the Bible. This book covers most aspects regarding the dairy cows health and wellbeing. However it is not error free, it is mentioned on page 4 that anthelminics are divided into 2 groups, white and clear and that levamisole belongs in the clear group. This is not correct. As a responsible SQP I feel like I should point out that anthelmintics are divided into 5 groups not 2. The first 3 being white, yellow and clear. Levamisole belongs in the 2nd group (yellow) The 4th and 5th groups are vet only products.

I am a veterinarian, and I found this book really good. Although it says in the title that is addressed to farmers, I would recommend it to every student of veterinary medicine, or even better to any recent graduate. One of the best books I have seen from the perspective of covering all aspects of bovine medicine.

This is an amazing book. I have an older version which a visiting vet student was glued to. She was such a help to me that I bought her this book as a thank you and she was delighted.

Great book to have at hand. Clear and concise, easy to understand.
