An absolute beauty. This watch is a great piece. I wanted to add a Seiko to my collection and now I like it so much that I no longer wear other watches. It is very reliable, comfortable and the size it's perfect for everyday wear. The looks reminds me of the classic Rolex but with a modern look. One of my best watch purchases ever. You will love it!

The Seiko 5 Sports SSK001 is a solid, stylish everyday watch with a reliable automatic movement, GMT/dual-time function, and durable stainless-steel build. It feels premium for the price, has great lume, a clear dial, and 100m water resistance, making it perfect for daily wear, travel, and casual swimming. It does wear a bit large, and like all automatics it needs occasional winding if not worn daily, but overall the value and quality are outstanding. Verdict: A great choice if you want a dependable, sporty, mechanical watch that looks good with almost anything.

This is my second SSK001- I sullied the other one by accident trying to regulate the movement, it was the first time I'd attempted to do so on an automatic watch. Needless to say I learned a lot from the experience. The watch came fairly accurate out of the box (approx -2 sec/day, excellent for a watch in this price range), but I opened the case back and VERY gently sped up the movement so it runs a few secs fast/day, not slow. The watch is thick, but I don't mind it. The addition of the GMT hand helps justify some of height. It's not a small watch by any stretch, but it wears smaller than the dimensions would suggest on paper. I'd love if the watch came with a screw down crown like the old SKX007s, but 100m WR on a GMT is plenty. The crown guards help prevent the crown accidently being pull out. Overall a wonderful watch, especially for the price, and if your expectations are reasonable. Highly recommend.
