This combo is great! I bought this for an old iMac 8,1 C2D as modern BT replacements are not usually backwards compatible with 2000s era BT. The keyboard features a USB-A and a USB-C slot for accessories. The A will likely be consumed by the mouse to reserve space and power on the ports on the Mac. For an older computer, this leaves a low-power USB-C port on the keyboard connected to USB 2.0 on the iMac. I have noticed limits to the power output of ALL the USB ports with this keyboard and mouse attached. The USB-C on the keyboard is understandably only powerful enough to drive the simplest devices, or self-powered ones. The keyboard also seems to sap power from the other ports somehow as well because with it connected, my iMac is unable to output enough to an external 2.5” HDD to mount the drive. This is not a deal breaker for me, as the solution is to power a drive externally, but it should be noted that the power draw of this keyboard may not be appropriate for older computers with multiple peripherals and limited USB function.

UPDATE: This keyboard issue was "operator error". The keyboard works fine. Omoton messaged, offerning to refund my purchase. There was no request to modify my review. Because the keyboard worked, I gave them to choice to refund or not. Either would be fine because the keyboard did work. To money was refunded to my Amazon account. Customer service deserves the original one-star to a five-star rating. Very cheaply made. One can't expect much, but this falls below most cheaply made imports. The main issue is that the keyboard stopped working around 10 minutes after being plugged into the computer. Dead. Tried multiple ports on multiple computers, no power on...

A very nice set. Very soft cables, pleasure to handle. The keyboard has a good feel to it. The mouse, too. I wish the cable was exiting the keyboard differently — the cable sticks at the right angle exiting backwards from the back side of the keyboard preventing butting it against anything.

It worked well on my 2008 Apple computer...as advertised.

I was excited to receive this item, but it just ended up being a little too chincy to be very enjoyable. It's also significantly smaller than I expected - the same size as my 16" laptop's keyboard, when I was assuming it'd be larger. That's on me for not looking at the dimensions carefully. The mouse is also not incredibly confidence inspiring, and as advertised, both are also wired. It's just not worth it for me to use this set when there are comparably priced wireless, sturdier ones available. That said, there isn't anything functionally wrong with this set.

This is what I need. They both work great. It's hard to beat at this price. I recommend
