Definitely a must have for long plane travel with young children!!
This was a life saver for our international trip with our young children!! Kids were able to put their legs up and sleep comfortably. Even for my 4 year old, he wasn’t able to lay down like on a bed, but at least be more comfortable with his legs up. Material is heavy duty and was perfect for our trip. There’s always an unknown of whether the airline will allow or not. Unless airline specifically posts on their website that it IS allowed, it all depends on the flight attendant. My one tip is that if you are using it on your international flight or night flights where they turn off the lights, then wait until they do their first rounds of drinks and turn off the lights. Most of the time, they can’t see in the dark and by the time they find out towards the end of the flight, oh well. It’s near the end. :)

Very functional
I’ve used this so many times when flying with my toddler. It’s the only way he will sleep on a plane. He seems comfortable although now that he is taller it might not work as well for sleeping but definitely still works for lounging while watching his shoes. It’s easy to set up and can be deflated easily.

The airlines will remove it if they catch you using it.
WARNING!!! THE AIRLINE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WILL CONFISCATE THIS ITEM IF THEY CATCH YOU USING IT!!! Especially the Asian airlines. I have had three of these removed from China Airlines, Korean air, and now Japanese airlines just last week. The mattress most definitely works. My son slept on it for about an hour and a half before the flight attendants forced me remove it. I don’t think they have a really good reason as to why we have to remove them, they just have it as a rule that you can’t have it. As far as the product goes, I gave it a five star rating because I do think it’s a great product. But if you use it on the airline, you’re gonna lose it. Or at least they will make you deflated and put it away.

Do not recommend
Bought this for overseas flight. It showed up and it’s just so big. Deflated in a bag it would take up an entire backpack by itself pretty much. Not really useful as a carryon when this by itself is its own carry-on. I returned it and they take out a $6.20 return fee. Just letting you know as a warning. I do not recommend this.

Love this!
We bought this for a cross country flight with our daughter who is almost 1. I’m so glad we did! She took a 2 hour nap and when she wasn’t napping this provided a comfortable space to play. Easy to setup and put away. Plus the blanket was great also.

Make sure to call airline ahead to ensure it’s allowed on that company’s aircraft !
So before you buy this item please call your airline and make sure it’s okay with them ! We flew with Condor an almost 10 hour flight and my daughter (3 year old) 98cm tall slept like 7 hours out of the 9 hours. It was easy to blow up ( you can take the pump if you want) but for us we wanted to save space so we just blew it up with our mouths and each section is a separate so it’s not like blowing up one big thing it’s by sections so it’s easier this way. Absolutely no complaints, the product did what it’s supposed to do.
