Cheap quality and highly priced
Bought it in sept 2019 and within a few months the plastic part cracked on the smallest jar. It did not fall. Then the knob on the base that turns on the motor stopped working in august 2020. I was able to turn the knob in different positions but that would not start the motor until I hold it at a particular position. So I spent $60 for shipping ( I was still under 1 yr warranty)and sent it to Gandhi appliance ( from where I got it) and they repaired it for free. But they did not replace with a new knob, the put the same old one ( the ultra technician told me) . Anyways fast forward to March 2021, and I have the same problem with the knob. It does not make sense for me to pay $60 for shipping plus repair charges again. Highly disappointed with Ultra for making a cheap quality product and charging $200 for this mixer blender.

Functional, Fast, Sturdy with Cumbersome lids - Scratch Prone Main Unit - Arrived Damaged
LOOK & FEEL:----------------The unit looks good on any countertop. Very pleasing on the eye and does not try to look like an Alien spaceship. However, mine arrived severely scratched out of the box; thanks to poor packaging. The jars themselves feel solid and have a heft to them; giving you an impression of higher quality. The primary base unit also portrays a sense of higher quality due to the use of metal. However, the metal plate on the base unit is incredibly prone to scratches. Mine arrived severely scratched (360 Degrees; all around); like someone literally rolled it on the floor for days and then played soccer with it after.Lids are made of plastics; with cumbersome yet functional locking mechanism.FUNCTION:-------------"Turbo Dial" seems to be a huge marketing howler as it does not do anything apart from being a standard rotary switch; like the ones you've used for decades. It's essentially a 3 Speed blender with added Pulse function. Nothing more, nothing less. The power seems to be adequate (or more; if you've used a 550 Watt system prior) for a typical Indian cooking scenario. The Lids demand greater attention; literally. Having them lock and taking them off requires a delicate touch; or you'd suffer the fate of breaking it off. Until further technological advancements are made, cheap plastics aren't going to get durable anytime soon. Plenty of reviews indicate that the Lids are the first to fail in this system. To avoid this drama, I turn myself into "Slow Motion" mode and take my time (imagine the bullet dodging scene from the Matrix movie? for Indians its every movie these days). This religious routine has kept my lids safe.PERFORMANCE:-------------------With plenty of Watts on the motor, the unit consistently Grinds/Mixes well. One would never pause and wish for more Wattage at any given time; so long you use the machine sensibly. Do use the "Pulse" feature and then use the speed setting desired.NOISE:--------It's not here to win any quiet awards; but if you have used any Oster blending products before, you'd feel at home. In general, it is no quieter or louder than a typical Vacuum in your household.Occasional rattles from the Jar and/or Coupler are to be expected. Could not comment on whether this is a norm or a defect, since I only have 1 sample to test at home.CLEANING:-------------Easy. The jars do not disassemble themselves for greater cleaning; but it is fairly easy to hand clean as it is.I could not find any information on whether these are Dishwasher Safe. Unless you have confirmation from the brand; it is not advisable to do so.COST:-------Too Much. The asking price is almost a car payment for a typical American household. For what it demands, one can look into various other choices in the market and decide for themselves whether the look and feel of this unit warrants the extra cost.I did not; will not pay the full asking price (over 173 USD at the time of review).FINAL THOUGHTS:----------------------It works well. It looks great.Packaging needs to be improved if they intend to deliver the units looking and functioning like new.Needs to be priced lower for what it is./***** DISCLAIMER *****/Expressed opinions are only mine. All thoughts/opinions are derived from the unit I received and the usage that I had with it. Your experience may vary. I have paid for my own unit. This review is not compensated in any form.

not worth for money spent and defective product
this is an awful product , please donot buy this as it is not matching with the description, everytime I use it I am in pain. I spent nearly couple of 100s to purchase this and felt this product should not have been in Amazon. the lids are tight and not usable as friendly as possible. there is no slot to mix or pour water into the mixer while stop and run. the lids should be completely removed in order to pour water or add another ingredient while the lids are extremely hard to remove and replace. I am suffering on a day to day basis with this

Not verified Purchase.
Not Verified PurchaseThe product is good as long as it is working. Please note that the Manufacturer does not provide any form of warranty. All the information on the product page regarding warranty is false. Amazon cannot help you because it is out of their hands after a period of time. The manufacturer will give you the run around asking owners to contact the seller and they are not responsible for the warranty. Waste of time and pointless to purchase this from Amazon if warranty is not bundled. Might as well obtain one from India at a fraction of the cost, since warranty is down the drain
