PS Products Mantel Concealment Gun Clock, Mahogany, One Size

I was extremely nervous buying this clock. One because it did not give the dimensions of the inside and two bc the reviews were horrible. I had it sent to my home and opened it up to find I couldn't see the hinges like everyone was complaining about. And it was truly beautiful. I am very happy with this as a gift for my friend. I played with the key and lock and it's easy peasy. My friend needs this bc she runs a school where you can't have guns but you also could get shot up. So this locking clock is the best solution. Especially for us Texans. Lol

Packs easily a Beretta 9mm PX4, a 2.5" barrel .357 Magnum (would fit a 4" too).It LOOKS nice - is a GREAT VALUE - and REALLY DOES NOT SUGGEST ANYTHING is inside.I LOVE IT. Also - the "face" doesn't go all the way down when opened - it "hovers" so it doesn't make a "smacking" noise off of whatever it's sitting on. Again: LOVE IT.

This clock was great and perfect for my dad's father's day gift! The clock worked perfectly and the key was there, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried. The first thing I noticed was the outside of the box it came in had 2 pieces of tape with wrapping paper stuck to it. I knew then that this item was returned and sold to me. Also, there was a small mark right above the face of the clock on the front. It is minor and can't be seen from two feet away, but this was a gift and I wanted it to be perfect. All in all, my dad loved it and so far it's still working.

1. The finish is wonderful, and the look overall is great. I wish they would provide a photo of the front so you could see it before buying.2. There is enough room to stick keys, a wallet, etc., without everything falling out when you open the door.3. The door stays in place well with the magnets.4. It was off on time a little bit yesterday, but I switched out the battery (once I found the one they provided), so I might have reset the time without knowing it. This morning it was right on time, but if the clock doesn't keep time well, I'll revise my review.5. There is a seam where the door meets the unit, and someone might wonder why that is there, but overall, it's not attention-grabbing.I am very pleased with this product.

The clock does work. It does come with a cheap key lock with the keyhole on the back of the clock. It can fit a SMITH & WESSON M&P9 M2.0 inside it with an extra clip. The cavity inside the clock is lined with cheaper thin green felt. The key lock is cheap and you do get 2 keys. I'm not a locksmith & I could pick it in under a minute. So if someone wanted to get inside of this thing it would be trivial. The hinges and lock are weak and could be snapped with a sturdy screwdriver.However it could very easily be left unlocked and if undisturbed it wont open by itself so if you have it on a mantel or a nightstand and are a fan of security through obscurity its quite passable. Not particularly safe also literally not a safe but as far as quick access and hiding in plain sight its better than an unlocked drawer. You would actually have to look for it, so in that regard it works. It was $50 when purchased and for that price its passable but please bear in mind it is not a safe its a " storage clock " If you want something that conceals items better and more importantly safer it will cost quite a bit more money.

For the price, you get a nice clock with a lockable compartment. Everything works as stated. Dimensions prevent the concealment of a larger Sig Sauer handgun with light attached , a smaller framed Walther PPS model fits perfectly. Clock is easy to read, wood is decent and it appears to just be a clock when looking at close up. I had to let my cleaning lady know what it was, so that she didn't accidentally open it up while deep cleaning my home. Access is fast and easy to it's concealment area. Great product and fast shipping through Amazon.

When I received this item I opened it immediately as I was looking forward to receiving it. Upon inspection I found that the front edges were either damaged or not finished correctly. I immediately called Customer Service as instructed on the invoice and they told me they would send a Return Authorization within 10 days. I don't know why they could not email me the Return Authorization like most companies. I waited 15 days before I contacted them and they said they had mailed out the RA and they intimated that I had probably thrown it out because it looked like a postcard. Wrong! I open every piece of mail I receive and check it. I had to wait anther 10 days to receive "another" Return Authorization" which they say they mailed out on May 1, which is a Saturday. I shipped the package back and now I will wait to see how long it takes to send me a replacement. From what I could see the product looked fine, except for the area of the wood that was not finished. I will review further once I receive the replacement - good or bad.

Really classic look and conceals even our larger frame firearms. The clock keeps time well, and most of our guests have no idea that there is a compartment large enough to conceal a larger frame pistol inside it. There's also a key to lock the clock, so you can keep it from unauthorized access while you are away.It came packaged very secure in a foam cassing, and the key is inside the concealed compartment with silica packets. Don't throw away the key as you toss those packets. It is rolling around loose in there. THey also included the first battery for the clock, so when it arrives, you don't have to go hunt one down.Overall, not only is this a product I would recommend, but it is one I would consider buying again for the office.
