Our cats love these pouches of high quality cat food. One pouch was plenty for our 2 cats. Love the wholesome ingredients.

In the nocturnal quiet, when the house grows still and only the soft prowl of feline grace stirs the air, there comes a feast both mysterious and refined—Tiki Cat After Dark, a velvet potion fit for a creature born of moonlight. Its substance, smooth and silken as twilight mist, conceals within its modest pouch a richness that borders on reverence. The aroma rises first—warm, savory, and primal—awakening that secret wildness that domestic life can never quite tame. Chicken and duck, bound in gentle broth, mingle with the deeper music of organ meats—those hidden treasures of nourishment that nature devised and humankind too often forgets. The mousse yields easily beneath the spoon, a soft indulgence that speaks not of artifice but of devotion to the carnivore’s true appetite. It is a strange joy, to witness one’s companion—eyes bright as polished amber—receive such sustenance. There is no hesitation, no distrust. The dish is emptied swiftly, yet with an air of ceremony, as though instinct itself were bowing to gratitude. This food does not flatter with grains or hollow fillers; it respects the fierce simplicity of life itself. In every pouch lies vitality, dense and untamed, wrapped in civility. Thus Tiki Cat After Dark becomes more than mere nourishment—it is a small nocturne of the wild, a whispered remembrance that even in comfort, the heart of the hunter still beats beneath the fur.

Tiki is a good quality cat food but my beautiful girl is, like a million other cats, very picky. I have had her on Tiki Light and she’s not crazy about that either but will eat a little as opposed to the After Dark Mousse which she didn’t touch. I have tried very hard to transition her to wet food in an effort to avoid future kidney problems & crystals as she ages. She actually prefers RAWZ dry basically she is eating both the Light mousse and dry (RAWZ). I am giving her the Tiki Light Mousse because she is 11 pounds, which is perfect & not overweight for a Birman. However, the breed is prone to HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY which could shorten the normal lifespan of a Birman. Factors like genetics, diet, and regular vet care can influence how long a cat can live so I’m trying to be proactive in an effort to keep her alive and as healthy as my other 3 Birman’s that lived to 18 years old! So far so good.

I started ordering this cat food for my 3 month old kitten after he loved the same brand of treats from the vets office. The texture of the velvet food is great if you’re looking for something in between the pâté and a liquid option. I would compare the thickness to baby food except only slightly thicker. I personally don’t think it has a strong or foul odor, and that’s nice when it comes to wet cat food. My cat absolutely loves the food!! It appears to be high quality food, and knowing that my veterinarians office uses it made me very comfortable ordering it for my cat. I would say the only drawbacks are the size of the boxes you can order. A box of 12 appears to be the largest box size. I don’t know why they don’t sell a 30 pack size box for the month. Also if you are used to buying lower quality food this will seem pricey however I honestly think it’s well worth it. I buy all my cat food from this brand as well as their treats. If you have an older, picky, or even a cat with no teeth then this brand has food your cat can eat.
