I have used this fertilizer for several months on our Japanese maples that are approx 5' tall. Its a bit expensive but the trees have responded well and are looking more full with vibrant color.

ABSOLUTELY the best food for my 2 red maples (in very large containers; not in the ground). Live in the High Desert in New Mexico, but they flourish in the shade with this food. My garden center, that I patronize (sometimes too often - LOL), swears by all the Fox Farm Happy Frog fertilizers, but they were out of it. EASY to apply - Place dry mixture (great organic aroma) and water-in well 1x per month. Good price for 100% organic fertilizer.
