Totally MAD: 60 Years of Humor, Satire, Stupidity and Stupidity

EXCELLENT! Love this great collection of MAD magazine humor over the past 60 years. It makes me feel like a kid again.

An excellent anrhology of MAD, but some of the items are printed in type too small to be read without a magnifying glass.

Book was received almost looking brand new. I believe it was rated as good condition so was happy with purchase.

This is a big, beautiful coffee table sized book. It has a lot of interesting trivia and is a great trip down memory lane for those of us who grew up in the 60's and 70's. In a way, it's great review of political issues and entertainment from the past 5 or 6 decades. I bought this as a gift for my brother who spent a lot of his newspaper route money buying copies of the original magazines when we were growing up.

What a wild ride. I am almost as old as the magazine. Brought back so many wonderful memories. One problem, I have excellent eyesight yet I needed a magnifying glass to read some of it. Oh...I wish they would have a commemorative book that has just the 50s 60s and 70s maybe early 80s. I don't like the modern magazine of the 90s and on.

Awesome book. Mad was a must read for us kids growing up in the 50's and 60's. Love the great artwork and stories. One of my all time favorites was a takeoff on the old western "The Rifle Man" with Chuck Connors. The Mad version was "The Rifle, Man" and as I recall showed Lucas constantly shooting people for little or no reason. Just hilarious. I don't think that is in this book, wish it was. There's so much jammed into this book that a lot of it is reduced to such a small space that an old guy like me has trouble reading it so make sure you have a magnifying glass handy. That's a small complaint.

Das Buch habe ich für meinen Freund gekauft, der von Kind an großer Fan der MAD-Hefte ist und viele gelesen hat. Von daher war es eine super "Erinnerung" an die Kindheit. Lustig sind die Bilder von Alfred E. Neumann, die man sich an die Wand hängen kann. Die amerikanische Ausgabe setzt allerdings gute Englischkenntnisse voraus, sonst versteht man den Witz nicht.

This is a beautifully crafted compilation. The product quality is top notch with superb bonus material thrown in. Truly a keepsake for every MAD lover. Enjoy!

I love MAD magazine, not so popular in the UK, but very popular in South Africa where I grew up as a kid. This book brings back very fond memories of very enjoyable reading with loads of laughter....a brilliant buy.

It's been a great 60 years for MAD magazine! I love seeing all the front covers for these past 60 years, many examples of those wonderful movie and television show satires. I recommend the book to all the fans (who may sometimes have to put on their glasses to read the smaller prints but eh... we're not getting any younger either!)
