Oh my goodness this cream is amazing

Brilliant cream and so little required for maximum working

Waste of money .felt no relief at all tried it for 3 days, dose not do what it is advertised

I'm increasingly on the look out for more natural alternatives to mainstream products. My husband sometimes gets muscle aches in his back, shoulders and neck and has tried many different gels and creams for relief. Some work better than others. He prefers cream as many gels are sticky and don't absorb easily. This is a light cream which absorbs quickly and easily leaving no sticky residue and a little goes a long way. I like it already. The scent is lightly menthol with a faint hint of lavender which dissipated after a few minutes. This smells gentler than the strongly menthol scented gels I'm used to and didn't leave the skin tingling with menthol burn either. My husband often complains that if he puts on clothes after using gels the material sticks to the gel - not so here. All this is good. Two of the active ingredients in this cream are willow bark extract, which is often used for muscle pain and inflammation, and boswellia serrata (frankincense) which may also be useful in treating inflammation. This all sounds good to me. I'm impressed that the company has been in business for almost 100 years - I'm hoping that means their products are effective. At £12.99 for a 75ml tube (as at 9 September 2024) that's about the price I pay for conventional muscle pain relief. Worth consideration.

Price when reviewed: £ 12.99. As I’m unable to use pain creams that contain aspirin or ibuprofen I decided to order and try this drug free alternative. The plastic tube contains 75ml of cream. I found the cream rubs in quickly and smells of menthol which isn’t unpleasant. The expiry date is 05/2027 which is nearly 3 years and 9 months after I received this product, so it has a good shelf life. However, the box states the expiry date is for an unopened tube and doesn’t indicate how long to keep the product once opened which isn’t very helpful. The cream can be used 3-4 times daily. I’ve only used the product a few times since receiving it with mixed results. A sore neck barely improved but my painful knee did respond well. Whether this is because one pain is muscular and the other skeletal, I don’t know. I certainly not had any adverse reactions to the cream so I will continue to use it.

Purchased this cream to use on painful knee. Easy to use and handy to carry. Does help ease pain and good value for money.

Nice little tube with a flip top cap. Cream i(not gel as the listing states) is white, rubs in easily and doesn't leave a sticky residue. Has a pleasant menthol smell which doesn't linger like some other products do. That's about all I can say as both my husband and myself have been using this product for a few days now and neither of us have noticed any reduction in muscular pain. Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth though.
