I have never had such relief from a heating pad as I do with this one. I was a little leerier with this being that I have gotten several heating pads before and was not pleased with any of them the size I was hoping for something that went more on the shoulders and with the back, but I found out that i didn't need the unit to go as far as I thought I didn't want something that went all the way down the back but enough that it would cover the middle of it. The shut off is great this meant that I wouldn't have to worrier about the device. It has only been a week that I have had this but I will say one thing order, order. One moring I woke up with a very sore neck. After a day of applying Lidocane patches with no relief, I decided to try applying heat. However, none of my current pads would stay in place. After comparing the offerings for a neck heating pad, I chosed the Lenmen pad. Within a day of wearing the pad a couple of hours and wearing it over-night, the pain was gone. The only issue I had with the design of the pad, was the arms ( for want of a better term), didn't reach down in front to counter balance the weight of the back panel. Regardless, my neck pain was gone and I'm happy.
