I returned this two different times for a new one as they wouldn’t turn on or work properly. Finally gave us and just got a refund to purchase a different brand.

These flat irons are not worth the price and although I see very high ratings on this product; I did not see this product perform any better than a lesser costing brand. - The product comes in a velveteen case that does not have a handle so you have to carry it like a box, nonfunctional. -It is a gold tone when it comes to you but after the first use as it heats up, the tone begins to turn silver and even after it cools off; the color remains silver. -It does have an extra long cord, extremely long that could be a plus for some. -Your controls are on the inside of the handle and it heats fast, I would have expected a locking mechanism for the irons to stay closed until I unlock it to use as this feature makes it easier to lay flat until use. -Performance is no different than any other flat irons I have used, my hair did not show any difference in end results after use. Overall, these are just flat irons with a lot of razzle dazzle for the price. I am disappointed that they are marketing this as a Gold Edition upon presentation and after that, expect to be using a silver edition for the duration. I personally feel that they could reduce cost by reducing the fluff in this product and provide a more cost-effective, consumer-friendly product by focusing on the purpose of the product and incorporate those features and then charge accordingly. At the time of this posting, this product is $120 and I would venture to find a decent pair of flat irons for about half the price based on my overall experience of this appliance.
