Great Taste, Sleek Design, and Amazing Customer Service
I have been wanting to buy a good, tankless RO system for a while. Didn't need the high water flow rate of this one (1200 GPD) but still got this one for the better filtration, re-mineralization and a great looking faucet. What I like: 1. The taste of water is EXCELLENT. I am very picky about water taste. Have been purchasing my drinking water from Primo/Sparkletts for the past few years. This water is significantly better tasting than that, in my opinion. The water taste alone makes my purchase well worth the expense. 2. Great build quality. The great looking faucet gives your kitchen a modern look, if you don't already have it. 3. The faucet is very simple to use. With all the information (e.g. filter life, TDS, etc.) you might need right there on the built-in display. 4. The system is very compact since it is tankless. Takes up about 30% of the under sink space. 5. Excellent customer service. Prompt and helpful, which is a very rare quality these days. Details below. 6. The installation is simple enough if you already have a 1-1.4" diameter hole in your counter. I repurposed the one I had for dish washing liquid dispenser. The manual says 1" hole is needed but mine is 1.4" which is working fine. 7. Enabled the efficiency mode which reduces the water flow a little bit but improves power usage. Since I didn't need the 1200 GPD anyway, this was a pure win for me. What I don't like: 1. I bought the X12-PRO dual flow system. Hoping to "optionally" connect the 2nd flow to the sink faucet only if I need it. But it seems the X12-PRO system MUST to be connected to the sink faucet. No way to just keep it shut. Customer service confirmed it. If you are not planning to use the dual flow, you have to buy the X12-basic version, not the PRO. 2. Had to enable the faucet mode which prevents the water splashes at the beginning of every time you dispense water to something short like a glass or a mug. This faucet mode has the side effect of slowing down both the startup and the shutdown. 3. The drain saddle system may not be compatible with some systems (like mine). See the red-outlined drain system I have in the attached photo. There is no space for installing the drain saddle before the P-trap. However, this where the customer service came to rescue. Details below. Feature Suggestion: I wish there was a running count of how many ounces it has dispensed every time the faucet is turned on. It would help set up the auto dispense amount for non-standard bottles or jugs where I don't know the size. Customer Service Experience: When I realized that my drain system may not be compatible with the drain saddle, I contacted Waterdrop Customer Service for confirmation and my options. They asked for a photo to understand the issue and said that they will let me know once their technician looks at it. Within 24 hours (during weekend), they responded that it is indeed not compatible with the drain saddle. They suggested a Drain Line Adapter (DLA) that I can buy for about $25 from Amazon. It connects the drain line from the filter to the drain line from the dishwasher (green-outlined in the photo). I bought it and the installation went fine. Obviously, had to look up how to connect the DLA but it was fine. I responded to Waterdrop Customer Service saying that I didn't like the fact that I had to buy this extra part even though I bought a high end filtration system. Especially, since it seemed like they already know about this issue. The representative, named Harper, was very understanding and told me that she forwarded my feedback to the product design team so hopefully future versions of the Waterdrop filters can include this in the box. For my inconvenience, she offered me free replacement filters which was a nice surprise and well above my expectations. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with their customer service! Have been using the filter for over a month now. Greatly pleased with the purchase!

high/output of purified water from a well made product.
So far what YouTube has said about this product is spot on. However I absolutely disagree with the negative comments.. as they are net picking to make reviews feel like you’re getting more information. And its moreover about emotional thinking and personal preference.. More information is appreciated by some but not me… I especially don’t like if emotional thinking and the killing of logical thinking based on the idea that a product can be better if only they did this to it.. My personal preference have nothing to do with most people buying habits. I’m looking for a product that meets 99.9% of my needs and provides those needs for a long while. I’m not a looking for a prefect product because the can make it perfect in the next release. Sure it’s expensive and personal opinion on how expensive should be considered The Price of this unit is not emotionally great. However I feel it’s fair for what this product is giving you. So far we get clean water at high flow speeds.. we had a slow tank system and it would take days to fill 5 gallons of water… Water tastes is great. Water Quality seams no different than our old systems.. so not worse .. so that’s is a plus. Space and design are perfect. Installed it by myself… so if you have a brain … you can do it… I know you can. Water waist. Is less then others tank system. I find this unit to be a very quiet system. This product is user friendly..

Excellent product, and Stellar customer service!
Excellent water filtration system! I'm loving the X12 Pro dual flow, the installation was pretty easy, I did have a small problem when i installed it but it was my fault, I made a mistake not seating the water tubing all the way going from the under-counter unit to the smart faucet, I needed help to rectify the issue, i called customer service and they were able to help me identify the issue and they promptly sent me replacement parts, I got the parts quickly and I replaced the parts and I was able to correctly seat the water tubing into the unit and got the system up and running right away. I have an extensive background in customer service in a retail setting (20+ years) as a manager of 30 team members so I have a very clear understanding of what is and what isn't good customer service. I have to say Waterdrop customer service is top notch, 10 out of 10! I had many email correspondence with Rebecca and she provided what I would describe as stellar service! She was very prompt in her communications as well as very knowledgeable, polite, and professional, I'm very impressed and can highly recommend this company and their products.

Confident that we have made the correct choice.
After carefully researching available systems (for flow rate and filtering effectiveness) we elected to purchase this one. Since its installation last month, we are very pleased with its quality and performance. While it is an expensive unit, we are confident that we have made the correct choice. Notably, Rosie handled an installation issue professionally

Don't waste your $$$
If there was a zero star I would do that! I got the unit and installed it myself. I have plenty of experience doing things such as this so there was no problem. After a few days we noticed a large amount of water under the unit. Unfortunately it had saturated the whole cabinet. I reached out to waterdrop and they agreed to replace the unit and send me additional filters for my trouble. Unfortunately a few hours after installation the new unit is having the same issue! Do not buy, dont fall for the hype. Ill have to go in another direction. What a waste of time and money. Now I need to pull out the bottom of the cabinet and get it rebuilt.
