Form and Function Finally From Reebok.
Reeboks have always been a more narrow shoe compared to New Balance shoes, but Reebok did a great job with this shoe. The unique designed of the sole isn't just for cool looks. These shoes offer both form and function. I started wearing these when they were first released, so I've worn out a couple of pairs of them. I'm in my mid-50's, so my workouts are 2/3's walking and 1/3 jogging. These ATV19's provide a great platform for walking and running. I always wear these shoes when I shoot pool, because they are comfortable to stand in and they provide a secure platform for times when I have to stretch across the table to make a shot. They come in a variety of colors. I wish Reebok had made the soles either all yellow or all black, because the white detracts from the color flow. I bought some semi-gloss yellow paint and painted over the white. Anyone familiar with Reebok Basquiat Berlin's will tell you Reebok's are a good painting canvas only in leather and rubber. Color aside, these really are very comfortable shoes and they are well worth the money.

Grip!
When I first saw Reebok's ATV style shoes, I literally laughed out loud. Treads looking like something from a sci-fi horror movie-- spacemen's revenge on giant octopus creature that ate their moon pod. That said, the shoes grip on slippery mountain gravel or dry dirt in California like no other running or hiking shoe I've ever had. The treads work great and do exactly what they're designed for--grip. Plus, this pair of shoes feels very light and bouncy. Bought these for performance. Surprisingly, I'm starting to like the way they look too. Seem to do best on granite, basalt, and packed dirt with high quartz sand content.Only con: I've put these shoes through just about everything. Even tried them out at Santis mountain in the Swiss Alps this year. Tread material does not grip very well on wet/ damp smooth rock surfaces. Also does not grip very well on some mixed fine gravel terrain particularly with limestone or similar calcite deposits. Granted, you need good Vibram sole hiking boots for steep inclines in that sort of terrain--but the Reeboks did not grip well even in the flats.Been wearing and tearing on the ATV19s for several months now, and must say they're very well made and really holding up. Recommended.

Funky, cool, and comfortable
I've been a fan of the Reebok Zig Tech shoes for years, so I thought I'd try these. They are very light, and surprisingly comfortable. The only "weird" thing is that it feels kind of like you're walking down a piece of train rail, as the row of nubs down the center are a tiny bit higher than the ones on the edges. Not a deal breaker, and they'll wear down soon enough. I only noticed it at first - now I don't. I don't know why I wear running shoes, as I'm not a runner. I think because they're light and look cool. These do, to me. Others will disagree. Only other problem I have wearing running shoes is the lack of lateral support. These are designed for going forwards. If I need lateral support, it usually means I'm doing some yard work or something, so I'd have on work shoes or boots anyway. The fit is great - I ordered the same size I wear in the Zig line, and these fit the same. Reeboks fit my feet better than other brands, they have a lot of styles to choose from, and are very innovative in their designs. These, coupled with the fact that I didn't break the bank buying these, are the reasons I choose Reebok.

Great buy will be getting several more got me and my family even my kids
When i read all the complaints about this shoe i was a skeptic. .. well i can see all the flaws that people are saying and they need to stop being babies... All the flaws that where pointed out are minor and barely noticeable they are blowing them out of perportion the only problem I'm having and it's not big it's just something that need to me to get used to and is very understandable and expected is I drive a stick shift car and it's a little awkward for my clutch foot. Other then that they are amazing shipping was perfect they arrived in just enough time to try them out on a 12 hour shift they feel amazing and when you wear the right socks the breath the perfect amount the cushioning makes it feel like your kinda just hovering over the ground lol they look good feel amazing people need to stop complaining about paying 70 dollars for good shoes when they complain like they need to be buying 200 dollar shoes.

First shoe anyone ever wanted to take a picture of...
This is one different looking shoe. Each individual pod points in a different angle. The pods are pronounced and you can feel them under your foot as you walk. This not like any other shoe --no big gel heel, or torsion bars, etc. Just rows of pods. I know many reviews I've read say this is a gimmick shoe. I give it props for originality. People do comment on the shoe and I have had people snap pictures to send to friends ==I think this speaks volumes on how shoes have become so alike. These are not heavy duty shoes like Keen. The are light, mesh upper, highly flexible shoe. I wouldn't look to punish them on some heavy trial work. More a light day hike or around town. If you only wear one pair of shoes, you should probably look elsewhere, if you enjoy having something different give these a try.
