It waves. After a time
Cheap and cheerful. The instructions are on the box but not very good. They state that the cat will be stationary for a few minutes after inserting the battery. I got bored of waiting after an hour, so I tapped the hand and it's been going strong since. There's no on/off switch so the very tight fitting AA battery needs removing to turn it off. Not a brilliant trinket, but good enough.

Lucky cat
there was no on and off switch. Could be used by taking the battery in and out. Very poor quality not what I expect from Amazon. Bought two as gifts Valentine’s Day Not what I expected.
