Absolutely! You can disable the Night Vision (IR LED) feature in the Tapo app. Simply select the camera, then tap on the word "Auto" (top-right, next to the gear-shaped icon), and select "Day Mode" to disable the IR LEDs. Please be advised that the monitored location should be adequately illuminated at night if you want the camera to reliably pick up details and monitor the location.

Q: Is the cloud storage free?

Hi! No, you do not need both; you can use just the Micro SD card (not included) storage option for 24/7 local rolling recording. For cloud-based storage, a Tapo Care subscription is required.
