Affordable capacitor for replacing on HVAC systems. We had an old system where this needed replaced occasionally. Very easy to do, and much more effective than our HVAC servicer which charged over $100 to replace one of these.

Purchased this part to replace a defective start capacitor on a GE oven vintage 2006. Appliance repair companies would not work on the oven due to no parts being available. The fan for the convection oven would not start automatically but the fan motor would spin freely when manually turned so I figured it wasn't the motor and was most likely the start capacitor. Purchased this part for around $11, took about a half hour to install and saved my sister about $5k as she was considering purchasing a new stove/oven.

Price and delivery was good. Works and got my fan running. Should last the remaining life of my system I hope. Has more connection tabs than I needed, but they may be needed for some applications.

Works and fits as speced. Quick change out of the capacitor to keep my AC/ Furnace running smoothly. I highly recommend changing these out every 3-5 years. It's a quick fix and essential to your ac unit. Just be careful they hold a charge. Most times when the outside compressor will not kick on this is the reason

It worked and saves me lots of money. Our central AC is working outside but not blowing cool air so when I search YouTube it says it’s the fan control board but when I saw the capacitor looks deformed I ordered one but be very careful though because it stored electricity so just to be safe I bought a electric discharge tool from Amazon also for $6.99 and viola works instantly thanks seller

My 30 year old Day and Night Plus 80 furnace got to where it would only run for a minute, then shut off. Traced the problem to main blower motor not running. Tested the capacitor and found it bad. Ordered this one and got it in a day. Popped it in and now we have heat again. Whooppee!

Electrician told me I needed a new furnace motor, $$$$. So I did some online research regarding the issue I was having. Our furnace would shut off, if it was running for too long. Winters in Vernon, BC can get into the -30's and the old furnace has to work pretty hard to keep up. Before spending many hundreds on a new furnace motor I bought one of these Genteq GE Capacitors as recommended in a online search, and thankfully it was the problem. Very easy to install, just a few basic hand tools required. It has been a year now, and no issues with furnace motor.
