I’m so happy with this gel nail polish kit! The UV lamp works quickly and cures the polish evenly every time. The colors are vibrant, smooth, and long-lasting. I can go weeks without any chipping. The kit comes with everything you need, and the tools are great quality. It’s easy to use, even for beginners, and saves me so much money compared to salon visits. Highly recommend for anyone who loves doing their nails at home!

First thing I love that this is not tested on animals. I try to only buy products that are not tested on animals. I love this product, I have used it and the uv light. I love the nail polish, you get 60 colors. Yes the bottles are smaller but you are not going to use all of the colors. It gives you a good size sample bottle for each color. It is long lasting. They are a little sticky but it dries in no time. It takes a little longer to dry than it says but it also could be me. I might put a bit too much. One thing I would say is clean your nails or fingers before you dry them. I am messy and the first time I did not realize it would be so hard to get off after the fact. That was a me problem though not a product problem. I am a fruit cutter for a local grocery store. My hands are in gloves all day and I use a veggie wash that is hard on your hands. Normally my nail polish for last a day if I just paint my nails. This time it lasted almost a week before it started to chip. That was a great surprise. The price for this is really not bad at all.

Really great product. Have never used gel before other than when I've gotten them done professionally, but this was quick, simple to use, and had an easy-to-follow instruction manual. Any beginner could take to this set like a duck to water. Practically fool proof. For the price I was worried quality would be off/UV light wouldn’t be effective in curing the nails but alas I was proven wrong. Definitely worked. Only did 60 seconds under the light between each coat and that was really all it needed. Did my mom’s set and she was amazed as well!! I did end up buying a cheap 70spf cream as I saw some reviews mention a “burning sensation” from the light but my mom didn’t want to use it and said it was completely painless. (It’s certainly better to use in the long run for skin health but don’t think it’s necessary to avoid pain.) Color was not as opaque as I expected it to be on the first coat and I was worried-like I said it CURED the nails- but after going in with the second coat there wasn't any patchiness. Loads of colors to choose from, and with a glitter top coat and plenty of decals/gems/stencil strips you can achieve tons of designs. I went with the basic glossy top coat which was great but my mom opted for the glitter top coat; the sparkle was subtle but effective, adding a nice touch to the pink shade she chose. I’m sure there are higher end products that offer slightly better quality but for someone who wanted a beginner set this was truly a steal at this price point. Came with all tools necessary for an at-home gel manicure and all the extras you might want before going in on something more “expensive.”

I’m not a professional nail technician, I’ve enjoyed painting my own nails since I was a kid. And now as of recently have been enjoying them even more now a days with the gel x method or full coverage nail tips for nail extensions. These are the beetles coffin tipex nail tips, and utilized the colors in this package, 5/6 colors shown, 1 application of colors utilizing blooming gel and 1 small droplet of paint, I used everything contained in the package just about: gel base, nail tip glue, gel paint, gel glitter top and gel top coat. So far I am loving the product! I’ve utilized many nail tips, and for my personal taste, I really do like the thicker nail with apex pre built. Pssst, beetles also offers a “lite apex” version. Which are also to die for. I am extremely rough with my hands and nails and wether it’s nail extensions or just regular gel polish I always suffered lifting if not breakage early on. Doesn’t help that I have a horrible habbit of picking at them when they do start to lift or break. I do want to stress though, because these nails are naturally thick, they do not require a lot of paint layers or thick layers - keep in mind when doing nail art as it can make for thicker uneven nail tips. The finished product already is flawless, allowing for a simple 1 layer color and top coat process for people in a hurry and wanting to do their own nails. So far the color is beautifully pigmented and the top coat solution was easily applied and level out nicely. The finished glossy look has the ASMR clicking clakety sound you get when clicking your nails together 🤪. The package all in all came with a ton of goodies well worth the price. The beautiful blue picnic basket, along with both gel polish and small set of regular polish, curing light, scarf, glasses and nail art tools, I don’t know what’s more convincing. The original ad shows the package comes with nail tips to try, I did not receive those unfortunately - HOWEVER, I had already had the beetles ropes nail tips as I mentioned above, and instead beetles sent me an beetles eyelash cluster lashes kit - which is waaaaayyyyyy more valuable than the nail tips themselves. Double win win! Something I’ve also been wanting to try…..they have an additional picnic basket set with different colors that I’ve been looking for when I stumbled across this one. Definitely worth every penny. The gel paint has a nice easy viscosity for application, and highly pigmented needing only 1 coat, and the bottle sizes are fully sized! *I edited to 4 stars from 5 due to the top coat being very thin and runs fast. So you have to apply quickly and then cure or apply literally 1 nail at a time so it doesn’t bleed into the skin. But it is a beautiful glossy finish .

I am obsessed with this gel nail kit. I have tried a few at-home kits before, but this one actually gives me nails that look professional. The colors are gorgeous and there are so many options that I never get bored. The UV light works quickly, and the polish cures perfectly without smudging. I love that it comes with all the tools I need, so I don’t have to buy anything extra. I’ve been doing my nails at home for a few weeks now and they last for over two weeks without chipping. It’s so satisfying to have a little self-care session at home and end up with nails that make me feel confident. This kit is totally worth it for anyone who loves DIY nails.

I'll start by saying that I know almost nothing about doing nails. I struggle to even paint mine without making a mess or accidentally smudging them before they're dry etc. I love having them done but 1. The cost is outrageous and 2. I have terrible anxiety so sitting with a stranger for an hour, trying to make small talk is a nightmare for me. ANYWAY... I absolutely LOVE this kit. I bought other nail tips/gel glue/and nail stickers off of Amazon, but otherwise this kit had everything i needed. When I first put my nails under the light, I was concerned because i did feel a burning sensation, but it went away after about 10 seconds and only happened on the very first layer. The nail gel cured the false tips in 60 seconds and unlike just regular nail glue, these felt/feel SECURE. I painted two layers, curing in between each one. THIS was what made it amazing for me, because everything was dry, so painting my non dominant hand was much easier not having to worry about smudging what I had already done. Next I used the tweezers that came in the kit and applied nail stickers. I added 2 layers of top coat (curing between each) and, boom!.... my nails were done, not smudged, felt secure, and looked really pretty! The pictures are from 5 days AFTER I did them. They have held up very well and still don't feel like they are loose or ready to come off. I have tried to avoid a ton of water, aside from showers, but other than that, ive done nothing different. The colors are great and most are completely covered in two coats. The UV light functions very well and so does all of the tools that come along with the kit. Highly recommend. All I did was follow directions. If I can do my nails, anyone should be able to. Worth every penny

This is a really good starter kit easy to use. The lamp dries really well! The nail polish bottles are really small but the kit has so many colors that I think they will be lasting for some good time, also the colors are so good just one application looks beautiful in some colors 😍

I have a bad habit of biting and picking at my nails. It's embarrassing and I wanted to stop. I got this kit and so far, no mail biting or picking! My nails are strong and much longer than before! I do better when I can't see how long they are. The gel cures under UV light so as soon as the top coat is done, I can go do things like scrubbing the dishes or gardening or cooking or giving the dog a bath and my nails stay pretty. I like the variety of colors. I chose to paint each nail tester with 3 coats, covering 1/3 each time so I could see what 1, 2 and 3 coats looks like and cured between coats. I took a sharpie and wrote the color code on the reverse. I ordered the HEMA free top coat and foundation coat set (white bottles) separately. They're for sensitive nails and I love them! Key points: - Use a thin, even coat for base, color and top coats! - Cure between coats - All coats are tacky except for top coat after curing. THIS IS NORMAL. DO NOT WIPE. - Use SPF on hands, fingers, toes (yes it works for pedis too) and wrists. I use a lotion style SPF 50 and wait 30 mins minimum before starting. The first time I didn't use SPF and my fingers, cuticles and tips of my fingers had a burning/stinging sensation when using the light. I watch a show on Netflix or Disney to pass the time. - I also bought a gel remover and liquid latex separately on Amazon (not beetles) because I hate the smell of acetone/nail polish remover. Gel remover works great but don't get any on your skin, it burns like acid. I'm not allergic to latex so this really helps my polish look clean. - This kit comes with a cuticle softener (great value and very helpful!) And a cuticle oil (I do better with lotion.) I had to wait 48 hours between my first cuticle removal and my first paint session. - The nails MUST be clean and dry. After applying SPF and waiting for it to soak in, take a rubbing alcohol wipe or a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol and wipe each nail off. Then take one of the pink little squares and wipe off any dirt. - Shape your nails BEFORE you paint them. I have used the included nail art items however the only ones that stay on are the pearls for me. - Clean off any excess nail polish/top or bottom coats BEFORE you cure! I use the metal cuticle tool included to scrape away any excess. - The UV lamp can get warm. - If you use the nail art items, those metal tweezers (included) are your best friend! - Yes, the bottles are small but they will last you if you use thin even layers. - The odor is still present but very low considering the alternative. 100% would recommend and would buy as a gift! It's a great starter kit for beginners!!
