Works really well without endangering kids or other pets.
I saw several reviews that said the smell was awful, it is a bit strong, but I actually like the smell. You do have to actually have to hit the flies because that is how it kills, you can't just spray in an area and hope it works. The spray coats the flies wings and it seems like it some how clogs the lungs and pores to kill, but is not dangerous around food (I still cover or put food away, just in case) kids, or other animals.

Works ok. Strong smell. Wild spray. No straw sprayer.
This stuff works ok on some things but doesnt kill deer/horse flies at all. Mine didnt come with a straw sprayer so the spray is wild and goes in places I dont want it to go. The smell is like all other eco smart products, overpowering. Not my favorite eco smart product but not the worst either. Probably wont buy again.

There’s nothing better, but still not perfect
**Update** It may be a coincidence, but ever since EcoSmart redesigned their packaging, I’ve had nothing but problems with the cans. I just received two from a recent order, and with both, the product comes out in a single, rocket-powered stream that leaves an explosive-looking splatter on anything straight ahead. Good luck hitting a tiny, quickly moving target without soaking the entire room. Of the previous few I ordered, one wouldn’t spray at all, and two others leak like crazy from around the nozzle when you spray. These cans have to go! The company should just put the product in a regular plastic spray bottle with a mist nozzle. That way, if there’s ever a problem, you can just transfer the liquid to another bottle. Why bother with faulty cans anymore? Amazon refuses returns on this product because it’s considered combustible (then why do they ship it in the first place?). It’s getting very discouraging playing this financial roulette game with new orders. Huge thanks to the seller though! Kaspien has provided outstanding customer service (thanks especially to Eric). **Previous review** This stuff isn’t always effective, but it’s the best non-toxic indoor product I’ve found. I get clothes and pantry moths, and flies occasionally get inside my apartment in warmer months. This spray is more effective on the little moths, but with flies it doesn’t seem to do much more to them than slow them down so that I can smack them with a swatter, so I have to have both on hand at the same time. You have to spray it on the flies directly though—really soak them—and act fast while they’re wet. Otherwise they just scoot off somewhere, and rebound after they dry off. The mixture has a potent smell, which is a lot like BENGAY, due to the plant oils it contains. If strong scents bother you, that might be an issue, because it tends to linger for quite a while. Personally, I don’t find it that offensive. At least it’s not a chemical smell. I’ve been using this product for several years, because I haven’t found anything else that is as safe for indoor pets without being outweighed by other drawbacks. My cats have definitely walked through floor areas covered with spray residue, yet they’re still alive and healthy. I would have liked this stuff to be effective enough to actually kill all of its flying insect targets on its own, but I guess you can’t have human/pet safety *and* a deadly agent in the same can, so compromises must be made. Until there’s a better option, I’ll keep buying and recommending this one. I should note that I recently received a can filled with liquid that was pinkish-brown. I’m not sure if that batch was expired, because there weren’t any date stamps on it. The replacement can I ordered was fine. I strongly recommend that you do a test spray on something stain-proof before using it around your home.

I never knew I needed this
I've had it for an hour but I will NEVER be without it again! I wasn't expecting much, I forgot some bananas on top of the fridge and naturally, somehow, they came for them. It's a little tricky because the spray has to actually hit the fast little buggers, but I watched... maybe 10 seconds after I got em, they were dead. As an added bonus to basically being a miracle (I have a cat and dog so anything I used had to be pet safe), it leaves your place smelling absolutely fantastic, like wintergreen. If it leaves a residue, washing stuff down with soapy water is a small price to pay for safe, effective pest control.

Effective but useless
I have purchased three cans over three years, hoping the first one was just a bad batch, but every one of these had the spray nozzles fail. The last 2 failed after only a few uses, rendering them totally useless. I'd like to see the sellers get together and boycott the manufacturer until they address the situation. My beef is not with the seller. This is the first time I've ever had to leave a negative review on a product, anywhere!

WORKS GREAT
With having dogs and a cat who like to go in and out - it also allows mesquitos and bugs to come in unwelcome. I can spray this in the house and it's not harmful to my pets or myself.

It was Decent until it broke
The bottle is cheaply made, so one day it will fall apart, and you will have no way to salvage the rest of the can.

Works Very Well For Me. Yes It Smells Strong--But
It does smell strong but I would rather smell this rather than the serious poisons in other products. Also It works very well for us and our pets.
