Drip drip drip from my upstairs neighbor’s A/C onto my window A/C. Just installed today before the storm & it’s so quiet in my bedroom. I can’t wait to relax in bed tonight in a peaceful environment. Highly recommend this for window A/C units even great during rain storms. The magnet is so strong it stays on.

My window ac unit not only gets rain, but run off from the roof so it gets a lot of water. I ordered the smallest size which was still too big. I noticed by laying it flat and blocking the top vents the unit was running harder, I didn't want to cut the top because that would defeat the purpose of keeping the rain out. Since the cover had excess, I moved it up some against the window, which left a gap just big enough for the unit to breathe but not let water in, it works great. No more noise, a couple times I didn't even realize it rained, even my dog is no longer freaking out. The only issue is I have only had it 3 months and the foam is already crumbling. I live in Florida so with the heat, humidity and daily storms I expected it to break down, but not quite this soon.

Well made and does what it should. Easy enough to cut/trim to fit.

It used to sound like someone throwing jelly beans on top of my window AC unit when it rained. It was loud enough to interrupt a good night's sleep. After the drip pad install, the sound was drastically minimized. You still hear the large drops of water hitting against the drip pad, although muffled quite a bit. You can't hear the smaller drops of water at all. It's better than listening to flying jelly beans all night.
