Crest Design Large Lightweight Work or School Tote Bag Handbag for 17" Laptops (X-Large, Lightsalmon)

I just received this bag. I replaced my leather backpack with this bag because the smell from the leather was getting to me. The one I just received is large, maybe even huge, but as a student, it meets my needs and I can carry as a shoulder bag. I have a 15.6 laptop that I seldom need to carry, however I want the option to do so, if needed. Books can fit into the laptop area as well. I'm still deciding if I need a purse insert but will make my decision in the next week or so. The black color is great and I hope that the bag holds up, which it seems to be well designed for the price especially. For sure, with this bag, I only need to carry one bag as opposed to two. One more thing, there is a zipper to close the bag, which keeps everything from falling out.

Got the bag for daughter who's in dental school .. she has the 17" computer so it was hard to find a bag big enough .. this one is great .. fits great .. has other pockets that really helps with other stuff .. worth the money .. highly recommend ..

I like this bag. It is almost perfect. It has lots of pockets on the inside for phone, passport, important papers, sweater or jacket. It is stiff enough to stand up straight without crumpling over. The color purple is a nice shade and dark enough to hide dirt. The only thing I would change would be to put the water bottle pocket on the outside for easy access. It is located on the inside close to the end of the zipper. In order to get to the bottle, the zipper has to be all the way open and all other items are then exposed to potential theft.

I originally ordered three bags. One Crest Design in Grey and the other two from a different brand. When they came in I immediately return the other two and purchased a second Crest Design in the maroon color for school. I need a dedicated bag for work and a second for school. I love these bags and I received a few compliments on style and durability. I've gone through four bags this year already from other brands!!!

I've used this bag everyday for nearly a year and it has held up really well with no fraying, tears or damage of any kind. It is light to carry, which was the main reason I chose it over others. I use it to carry everything - file folders, books, a smaller purse, lunch and a water bottle and didn't want the bag itself to add extra weight. It's perfect.Update, June 2, 2018. Someone asked about the inside measurements to fit a flute case so I'm adding that information here in case it is helpful to others. The bag is flexible so it's hard to tell the exact width and length inside. The outside seams where the bottom is sewn to the sides are about 6 inches by 15-1/2 to 16 inches, but it gives due to being so flexible. It does not have a stiff bottom nor cardboard insert in the bottom that would constrain the proportions. I was able to easily slide a box measuring 16-3/8 inches long by 3-1/2 inches wide down into the bottom of the bag with room to spare in the width. It would likely accommodate 4 inches wide ( 4 by 16-1/2) but could be tight practically speaking. If your case is less than 16 inches long, it would give you more fabric to accommodate a greater width and if its width is less, the bag would flex to fit a longer case but perhaps not lay flat on the bottom. I see the seller says it's 21 by 7 inches. It would definitely not fit a box measuring 21 by 7 inches. If I press the sides of the bag flat against each other, the fabric might measure 21 inches long (with zero width), but that does not translate to that much space inside. However, a 17 inch laptop would fit fine.

I seriously love this bag. It's one of the best Amazon purchases I've made--and I've made a LOT.I originally got it to use as my personal bag on flights when travelling for work but now I use it every single day as a tote. It's high quality-definitely stands up to rough daily use. Large enough to fit tons of stuff. The pockets inside are nice and the laptop sleeve is great (though it doesn't offer as much protection as a devoted laptop bag). I especially love the pouch for your drink/water bottle. I also like that you can zip the whole thing shut (though I rarely do).The color is spot-on from the product photos (my photos make it look slightly more vibrant).I 100% recommend this and would buy again in a heartbeat.

This bag is large enough to carry all of my school books, my laptop (13" screen), and accessories with room to spare. It is well constructed and doesn't feel cheap or low quality. I had considered buying the Michael Kors work tote or the Vera Bradley work tote but thought their prices was too high. I'm glad I took a chance on this bag. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

this item did not meet my need. I wanted something I could use as a carry bag for my laptop and all my everyday junk that I need to carry. it is too large and does not have ample support for carrying everything. that said, it has great compartment space. if you want a larger bag with great compartments this is possibly for you. Just be ware that it has no support and is very thin.
