4M KidzLabs Fingerprint Kit

This set was purchased for use at a Bear Scout activity, and the boys all loved it! The fingerprinting ink was a little smeary, and the boys had to wash their hands a couple of times, but other than that, they had so much fun learning about fingerprints and forensics!

This item was awesome i2 used it for my college forensics class. Thekit the school wants you to buy cost like $60 and this one cost like 15 this was a great buy thank you so much for this item!!!

We ran out of "ink" after my grandson opened it over the carpet and it "stained" the carpet which made my son in law yell at my grandson a lot. This comes with a black powder graphite that spills easily when it is open (since it is hard to open, spilling is easy to do) and there is not much of it so then he was close to out. So it turned into a disaster in my gifting case. It should come with more powder and it would be cool if they could use a powder that was not black/didn't stain everything. Still it is a cool idea and the components of the kit are similar to a real fingerprint kit (I once had the cops fingerprint a rental house of mine after a break in, and they used the same staining black powder graphite).

My wife uses these with her Bears den (8/9yo). We fingerprint a few of the den leaders ahead of time and then the kids have to figure out who's who. They love it.

I bought this for one of my grandsons. He and his family had a lot of fun fingerprinting each other and gathering fingerprints from around the house to compare. Well worth the price. Since they had so much fun I bought another one for another of my grandsons.

The product was bought as a Christmas present for 6 and 9 year old boys. They loved the idea of playing detective but when it came down to actually trying to working with the product they lost interest fast. I ended up spending more time tinkering with it. I knew when I purchased it, I would need to be involved in the process but I guess I expected they would have had a greater attention span when working with the product getting fingerprints and attempting to lift fingerprints. Obviously this was an error in judgement on my part. Don't get me wrong, this really seems to be a great product for older tweens, teens and even adults who want to see if they can master the skill of fingerprinting. I believe that it is an awesome product, I really liked it but my younger boys didn't have the patience or interest after the 1st few minutes.

Bought as a Birthday gift along with another spy kit and a hickey night light for 11 year old. He loved these. He is a very big hockey fan and is all into playing at being a spy. Great products

Fun and educational

This was popular with an 11 year old and he proceeded to take everyone's fingerprints. However, you end up with a black finger for a few days as the ink wears off. More suitable for an older child as it could get messy with a younger child. Good fun.

So much fun! Bought thisbas a baby gift, but I'm sure hebwill grow into it... If not I'll habe fun with it.

Hard to see little kid prints using the inkpad and paper, but they still had fun with it. Bought it for my 8&6 year old.

Bien...quoi que je trouve un peu cher pour ce qui se trouve à l'interieur. Le contenant de la poudre n'est pas super et j'ai du transvider de contenant après 2 degats😣
