Solid Minimalist Shoe
I’ve had Vibram 5 finger shoes and they were a Royal pain to put on so I never wore them and then donated the $120 Vibes to a transient. But intermittent foot/arch/heel/hip pain (foot bone connected to the ..ankle bone.. ankle bone connected to the ..leg bone.. leg bone connected to the.. hip bone…) prompted me to revisit why the heck am I hurting being so fit, good diet etc. After research I finally understand that feet have muscles and using shoes w arch support, albeit initially comfortable, do not “exercise” those foot muscles and they will continue to atrophy, get lazy and cause pain from stem to stern. I didn’t wanna shell out a ridiculous amount for vibrams, tadeevo, xero etc so I read the reviews on these, looked at buyer pics and decided to give em a shot. Well let me tell you they are a solid, very wide toe box , minimalist shoe that have zero drop and no arch support, which is good if you want to “cure” your foot pain (google stack block, and northwest foot for videos on what you need to do). And you can put ‘em on in 5 seconds with the speed laces instead of 5 minutes like vibrams. I have a wide foot and they fit great. I wear a women’s 9 which is what I ordered and will be exchanging for a 10 simply bc my toes touch the end of the shoe. Unfortunately there are no 1/2 sizes so we’ll see if the 10 works. The final selling point before I pulled the trigger and made Bezos a other $30 bucks was that I can wear my “Correct Toes” with these which of course I didn’t know for sure when I bought them but after I got em, put the CT’s on, there’s was plenty of lateral width for my toes to spread out and not be squished. As previously stated, I’ll just exchange for the size 10 because I need a slightly longer shoe. The price is definitely right and I would buy them again and again. Oh and a side note.. when I got these, I walked 2 miles on a dirt trail with CT’s in place and zero foot pain where as before I couldn’t go to the grocery store in my daily “high arch support” flip flops without suffering within 15 minutes. And just so you know.. no, I’m not a paid reviewer nor did I receive anything free for this review. 9-17-2021 UPDATE: got the size 10 yesterday and they’re perfect. Definitely recommend! 1-7-2022 UPDATE: I have worn these pretty much on a daily basis at the gym, not outside, since purchase. Ie-they’ve gotten punished! They have held up beautifully. Not even a hint of tread separation or material tears.se photos. Get yourself a pair! 7-13-2022 UPDATE: In short..one of the most durable shoe of any kind I’ve owned. I’m still trying to make these things fail but they keep on keeping on. Not even a hit of cracking, the sole peeling away… nothing! Buy them.. like stop reading this now and go buy them! 8-5-2025 UPDATE it’s crazy but these shoes are STILL intact. The sole is not separating, there are no rips in fabric .. the only thing is the insole thin covering is slightly unglued and you just have to “unroll” it back to flat when you put em in but hey after 4 years .. that’s a win!

So comfy!
I've only had them for about a week now, so it's too early for me to speak of longevity. If remember, I'll come back in and update my review after a few months. Initial reaction, they're fantastic. They're super flexible, light weight and comfortable. They feel pretty much like a regular water shoe, but the insole makes them much more comfortable. They feel like better quality than just the cheap water shoes you get at Walmart, which I've had, and tho they serve the same purpose, those fall apart very quickly. I'm hoping these will last at least a year of daily wear. If they hold up, I'm hoping to hike in them, at least on an established trail. I've been trying to toughen up my feet, walking around mostly barefoot, but on our property, we have many challenges to actual barefoot walking, like a gravel driveway and a chestnut tree with very spiky chestnut hulls that sting when they get in the skin. So far, these are perfect for walking around the yard, and even walking up to the mailbox, which is about a quarter of a mile walk on dirt and gravel. Traction is great, even on wet surfaces. Perfectly silent on hard floors, I feel like a Ninja! I will say, beware the holes in the soles that allow for water drainage. They are water shoes after all. But if you wear them in a puddle, your feet/socks (I'm a sock wearer) are gonna get wet. They look fine. I can't say they're any kind of fashion statement, but they don't look bad. Since I'm not a fashionista, they're perfect for me.

Could be better, but I love them.
At first, now having worn them almost everyday for 2 months, they were amazing. My feet sweat, sometimes a great deal and still, at first, they were comfortable, light and somewhat breathy but now having worn down the thin insole it came with, I’m sliding around in them and even with Dr. Scholl’s foot powder, the insole is ruined and feels slimy. I have not washed them yet, today, (unless soaking one’s feet in a puddle because I forgot I was wearing them counts), but wonder at the insole and if it could be replaced. If they were recycle-able *and* replaceable.. AMAZING. I also noticed the insole didn’t have much grip on the underside and so attributes to the slipping. Small bumps that fit *into* the sole? Hmmm. -Outside of the shoe is amazing, grip is steady and sure and I liked the Velcro on the lace tab to hook it onto the shoe. However, without the insole it seems diminished and uncomfortable. Will look for replacements so I don’t waste the rest of the shoes. 8/12/24 After a light washing on gentle in a pillow case, they snap right back into place. Sanitizing them in the sun cements the deal so they need frequent washes if used every day and they have holes in the sole for breathability so beware on cold rainy days. I will buy again.

I keep buying them for a reason
I love these shoes. I have a very wide foot and it definitely fits the bill when it comes to stability. I actually wear them at work, and I walk quite a bit. I still try to be careful on wet floors because it's different than outdoor Terrain but I prefer the comfort, walking ability, and fit of this shoe. By waterproof, don't get it twisted. Your foot will get wet but it does dry quickly if you take him off. I prefer them at work over my Crocs. The insole that comes with is decent enough but I still prefer to change them out. This is actually my third pair, however, it's not because they're wearing out, it's because I like using them in different situations.

Comfy, study, very cute!
Super comfortable, they feel like barefoot shoes . Super cute, they will be great for walking in beach and river rocks, etc., because they have a very sturdy sole. I'm also pleasantly surprised that they have a removable insole, so if you need more arch support you can put your own insoles in! Note that they do not have holes in the bottom like some other water shoes. I haven't tried them yet, so they may not empty out as quickly, but they have holes on the side.
