I've never used compression sleeves before, so no comparison to other products.I tried to train to join the cross country team my junior year of high school and I quit after a few months because my shin splints got so bad that I couldn't walk afterwards. I recently started running again and the shin splints turned up just like your fuckboi ex after you post a cute picture on IG. Obviously I started looking for solutions and compression sleeves were one of the suggestions. I am trying HIIT since it's not as boring to me as distance running and usually after a session I have to stretch a lot, ice my shins for an hour, and put Vicks on them so I can walk normally. These aren't a magical cure-all but they helped A Lot. I still felt a little pain near the bottom of my worse shin but overall it was a marked improvement over how I usually feel after a run. If you order these make sure you give your shins time to heal after their last beating before you try these cause they just don't work as well if you're already messed up. They fit true to the sizing chart provided and don't cut into your legs at all. I really like these although if I buy sleeves again I may go for a pair with stronger compression.

Afternoon James,Thank you for reaching out about my experience using the compression leg sleeves. I have had a chance to use them on a few 8 mile and 10 mile runs which I bought because I started to experience some nasty shin splints recently. I have been running pretty much every day for the past 7 years when I originally got back into running and then branched into ultra running and training for my first 50 mile run. Not having many in-person resources around me to reference on all the aspects to this sport, most of my knowledge came from watching documentaries, reading books, talking on running forums, etc... Same goes for my running gear, and having to purchase online, and do trial and error once you get it, etc... I never saw much of a need and frankly speaking, it seemed like a lot of people I saw wear compression leggings and arm wraps, felt like they did it more so for the image of what a runner should look like or something, then the actual need for it. I never had a desire to wear anything of the sort, until these shin splints came about and literally shut me down from running. My wife who was an avid runner, encouraged me to try the compression leggings, and I happened to come across yours on Amazon.com. I took a few days off to heal, and purchased the leggings. The price, sizing options, and print design is what drew me to yours, and I must say I am really loving, and now becoming dependent on them! I run in them every day now, and notice a HUGE difference in not only how I feel when I am running, but post run pains are greatly reduced, if not gone. Only time will tell how well these will hold up to my running regiment as I run outdoors only, from -10 to 110 degrees fahrenheit, trail to road... all over.Your product is of the few in running equipment pieces I find crucial to have, and even if they last me only 6 months, I will have no issue buying a few sets a year at that price.Great work by you and your company! I also don't usually rate a lot of products I buy, nor reply to emails like you sent me, but I do believe in your product, and felt it worth the time to respond since I have benefitted so much from them. :)I next plan to purchase gloves, and a few other products I have seen on your website.Thank you,James

Not your grandmothers compression sock.
Seem to do the trick. I have shin splints which wake me up at night these seem to keep the pain at bay. I have worn them to the gym as well and they are great compression sleeves without the compression sock look. After a very hard leg and calf workout, my legs feel great. These can also be worn under a pair of jeans while outside in the cold for added warmth. The sizing put me at an XL, but decided my legs were just not XL territory so ordered a large. The large is fine (my calves are 14.5" and 15") with no problems of numbness in either foot after a day of wearing them. Great colors, very sporty and match well with any black capri pants. They are fairly thick material which adds to the compression. I actually think they gave me a little assistance in my calf workout as I went up 30lbs on the smith machine with little effort.I also have a hip joint that will require arthroscopic surgery so any movement is painful. The minute I put the sleeve on, I feel immediate relief. It doesn't last longer than an hour but no pain for an hour is incredible.
